Yep, HDR is easily overcooked. I learned a long time ago to be always at the other end of the blend slider, like maybe 13%, maybe as a max. Anywho, I sincerely hope this technology comes out good, not super rushed out.

I would guess this is due to the limitation of the HDMI spec. I have inquired about 6K anamorphic mode HDMI out while recording. No video signal. Shame, a simple 1920x1080 HDMI output for focusing aide would be highly desirable, and highly useful to have.

I agree with jonpais, spec and feature wise, it falls behind my GH5, which I use for stills and video. Though, the Fuji is being marketed as a hybrid, not full on video, yes?

We would have to have both the GH5 and the GH5s shooting the same target, or scene to compare the different cameras, no? I only have a GH5. Oh, and where could you upload "raw" uncompressed files to?

Shrug, I haven't performed super mega detailed testing, you can find MANY test all over the web, but I like my SLR Magic variable ND.

I agree his videos are too red on my calibrated NEC PA272W. I also agree there is no magic bullet solution, LUTS. I still shoot in HLG 6K anamorphic mode, and edit in Resolve Studio via color settings I saw posted at dvxuser forum: "Yes, HLG is available with 6K anamorphic mode. In another note, besides Paul's excellent HLG LUT, you can also use HLG natively with Resolve 14 for Rec 709 delivery: - In Project Settings, under Color Management, Change to Davinci Color Managed - Under Color Management select: -- Rec 2020 HLG ARIB STD-B67 for Input Color Space -- Rec 2020 HLG ARIB STD-B67 for Timeline Color Space -- Rec 709 HLG ARIB STD-B67 for Output Color Space In this way I am getting quite similar results - I haven't compared color accuracy, etc, but in general both look georgeous. Didn't Samsung get sued by Canon over patents? Isn't this why the NX1 was "abandoned"? I was this close || to buying in on the NX1, but bought a GH4 body instead...

Can it be turned on and off DURING recording? That would be awesome, I'll have to try this tomorrow. I have a full day Winter Guard event on Saturday. New Tokina 11-16 should be here tomorrow as well. Hoping this plays well with the 0.64XL Speedbooster. I am needing a super UWA solution., the Sigma 18-35 Art and 0.64XL isn't wide enough, especially for the collage performances. Oh how I long for a super UWA anamorphic solution. My Kowa for B&H 2x and Minolta Rokkor 58/1.2 doesn't cover the full field of the performances. Sigh...

Shrug, don't understand any of this. I will say I am happy with my GH5 and my Metabones Speedbooster 0.64XL BTW, I am just a simple user, I don't get paid for any of my work, I give it out free to family and friends.

There is a beta tester on FM Forums that has a list of EOS mounted AF lenses, and results. The results were positive, except for one Canon lens, 16-35MkIII, I believe... I will definitely buy one regardless. I always wanted to use my Canon 200/1.8 and Canon 50/1.0 with my Fuji. BTW, both of the above rare Canon lens work great on my GH5 with the Metabones Speedbooster 0.64XL

I saw that via Fuji Rumors. And I want one. I have petioned Metabones/Caldwell since I got my first XE1...

I use an XLR Audio Technica selectable pad with an Azden SGN-250 XLR mic on my GH5, works good.

What Speedbooster did you use your Sigma 18-35/1.8 with? I think my Speedbooster 0.64XL is probably needing "calibrated". One day, the lens element in mine was loose, and the set screw was lost. I screwed the element back in, but I'm certain there is a point where it should be. As such, the corners of my vids are horrible with this lens. Though, I don't see the corner problem with any of the other lenses I use.
