Has anyone used the Sigma Art 12-14/f4 and Speedbooster? I am thinking of getting one...
-
Thanks for the adapter information, always looking for better adapters. I am currently having a guy on FM forums performing my Minolta MD to EOS mount conversions.
-
This is an option in ML. When I first heard of dual ISO in the GH5s, this is what I thought of, the ML implementation of using BOTH at same time, alternating scans, actually. Was kind of disappointed in the Panasonic method, though, it does have a working purpose...

I've used my CY mount lenses via Metabones EF mount Speedbooster 0.67XL with both my GH4 and GH5. Can't remember details, but, it seem to work okay. I will have to revisit these lenses...

Nice, I am wanting a gimbal solution for my GH5, however, traveling with LOTS of stuff is never fun.

Shrug, I am actually not trolling here, looking for options. I find the Filmic Pro app actually useful. Though, I will probably end up using it more for a focus aide monitor for my GH5. I am seeing actual frame, Padcaster, that might be useful as well. Thanks! Shrug, just asking, looking for options...

I got a 10.5" ipad pro for Christmas. Anyone use an ipad on a gimble? Searching doesn't seem to find anything.

Any chance of an ultra-wide anamorphic lens?
-
YES! PLEASE!
-
Is "6K" anamorphic still available? I will guess, still no HDMI signal is outputted during 6K anamorphic recording?

Software to trim MP4 4k files without recoding
buggz replied to Marcio Kabke Pinheiro's topic in Cameras
ffmeg does this, and much more. -
Probably not popular? But for an amateur like me, I LOVE my Kowa 2x for Bell & Howell. I use it with a Metabones EF<>m43 Speedbooster 0.64 XL and EOS mount Minolta Rokkor PG 58/1.2, put together via the Rapido Anamorphic Lens Clamp V2 with Rail Support

Me? Shrug, seems like a useful tool, but only works when setup BEFORE recording. I'm a one man band, trying to find a decent way to perform, or even emulate multicam views. >> I just wish TC was selectable On/Off *during* recording.

So, would this be good for a GH5 with Metabones 06.4XL Speedbooster and a Sigma Art 18-35? How about a GH5 with Metabones 06.4XL Speedbooster and a Canon 24-105?
-
Oh, so I read the Sigma Arts are not parfocal, and that only cinema zooms are, and expen$ive, bummer...
-
Please recommend to me a parfocal zoom. I currently use a GH5 with Metabones 0.64XL Speedbooster and either my Canon 24-105 f4, or my Sigma Art 18-35 f1.8. Neither of those stay focused when zoomed. Are either the Sigma Art 24-105 or the Sigma Art 12-14 parfocal? Are any of the m43 zooms parfocal?

I give, all I can see, besides the aspect ratio, and the grade, is the thin, very nice DOF bokeh, and probably at close focus too.
-
2.666666 aspect ratio, FF anamorphic, though, I believe this has already been said... I really HATE the merged reply thingy. Sorry, this was not meant as "a slam". I even bought the daylight LUT.
-
For me. on a calibrated display, too much red/magenta, like that Alexa LUT thingy... Shrug, a lot of people seem to like that look. On further review, it isn't even close to the Alexa LUT, your photo is more orange than red, nevermind...

Seems like I used .tiffs or DNG files when I was using Magic Lantern for my ol' 5DMkII and RAW output. Batch edit the scene changes in Photoshop CS6. Was very time consuming, but the result was really good.

So, playing with the video in Resolce Studio 14.1.1, I can adjust the black and white points, and the WB, but the skins remain red. Youtube and Vimeo has messed up the videos?
-
This is strange, your screenshots posted here look awesome. Here is what I am seeing from Youtube in windoze Firefox 57, if this works... Bummer, sorry, don't know why it keeps loading two of the same... Same result in IE. Downloading vid from Youtube, I will try different players to see if any differences... Just loaded the downloaded vid from Youtube and played in Resolve Studio 14.1.1, same red colors. Am I the only one who has this problem?
-
Okay, I hope to get to this today. Though, it could be the new stupid Firefox, 57? Hmm, I'll try IE and see...
