  1. Hey @boxtree nothing handheld, all shot with a monopod and for the slider shots used the Cinevate Duzi V3 slider. Just about everything shot in 4K and downscaled to 1080p. Also didn't mention some prep shots at the grooms place were using the GH4 and Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 and you can see the difference, lack of good bokeh, crappy low light and not a fan of the colours. The Sigma 18-35 f1.8 coupled with the Metabones Speedbooster XL .64x smashes the panny out of the ball park!
  2. Metabones Speedbooster XL 0.64x Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 Art Canon 70-200f/2.8L IS II USM
  3. Cheers @boxtree ! Yeah settings for this vid were.... Natural Picture Profile Noise Reduction -5 Sharpness -3 Contrast -3 Saturation 0 Given its only 8BIT I wanted to retain as much colour information as possible so didn't touch the saturation. For colour grading just some light corrections in Speedgrade and added a sharpen mask in PP. That's it, pretty simple workflow and I like the picture it pumps out without needing to shoot flat.
  4. Best thing I have ever done selling my Nikon D750 and prime lenses and getting the G7 with Metabones Speedbooster XL! Such a killer combo, thanks for the great review @Andrew Reid I'm new to videography this is my first video and stoked with the performance of this little cam
  5. Hey DPC! From what i've read extensively online, even if the screw wasn't loose many people are still having the same issue with their brandnew Metabones speedbooster coupled with a GH4 and the newer baby brother G7. I ordered the new Speedbooster XL 0.64x for Canon and i'm thinking about returning it given the issue. I don't believe cleaning and moving the element should be a fix for this issue and you may find your optics with the speedbooster are slightly out. The issue surely has to be an incompatibility with Panasonic cameras, not the lens or the speedbooster itself. Would be great to know how your getting along now and if you are still having the same problem? Have you heard any new info about this issue? Cheers Joel
  6. Epic ! Looked to be shot in pretty good light but those slow motion shots were nicer quality than most I've seen posted all over the net to date. Nearly convinced to buy one of these after watching your video, just waiting on @Andrew Reid part 2 review or a little more feedback of this cam. Low light concerns me for wedding work or any indoor work at only f2.8 and haven't seen many low light tests with this cam. Liking the look of the Panasonic G7 with Sigma 18-35 f1.8 and new Speedbooster XL combo! Lot of tests showing it has the extra stop of light over GH4 and although only 8-bit, that extra stop and 4K makes it ideal for budget film makers or enthusiasts who don't need or want to grade with S-Log
  7. Cheers for the specs Oliver. How does the low light compare to the GH4 (that is if you have any experience with the GH4)? Have you any low light test shots online? Obviously you could throw the new speedbooster 0.64XL and a sigma 18-35 f1.8 on the GH4 and it would beat the RX10 II's low light capabilities, just lack the 24-200mm focal length. However i'm interested in getting your feedback on this. Looks like a tempting purchase for many filmakers to utilise the "usable" 120fps & 240fps shots and 4K 24p as a B-cam for slow-motion.
  8. ANOTHER AWESOME REVIEW THANKS ANDREW! WHEN IS PART 2 OF THE REVIEW COMING? CHEERS, JOEL.
