I also had 18-35(utra) and if had to choose between them two it would defiantly be Leica 12-60.

OP have you option to borrow or rent Sigma to tryout? Give it a go for couple days its most favourite set up for filmmakers , tho theres couple qwerks Cons: you need 10stop ND for daylight use ,as apature gets to 1.1 ? Autofocus is terrible Video&Photo i had sigma dock to calibrate this piss of shit! if you shooting manual then this is not an issue Weight its heavy Lens! No Ibis. Pros: Best for lowlight with XL SB acts as 12-25 has its own color mojo it replaced three of my primes . I hope this helps

I went native with GH5 12-60 2,8 leica for run&gun best glass with IBIS and for shallow&lowlight 42,5 1.2 iBis cant beat that combo as for Sigma i had 18-35 and hated its front heavy compare to native lenses and idea of adapters is just pain in the neck

Rent it , there has been tons of threads about this its realy crazy to ask someone should you upgrade or not

Best investment of 2017 ! also check some native glasses if rentals is an option

Defiantly go native you wont regret its lighter you get fulll 5axis ibib autofocus

Well id still pick GH5 key points are low cost ,v-log,180fps,dualcards,focuspeaking,IBIS,4k60p,10BIT, there is alot more to list but am bothered to be honest If 5d mark4 had does features and was at same pricepoint then id never switched to GH5 as i was Canon user my self now to me its all about features since we are in 2017 things get better and smaller so if canon stingy enough to include all this great stuff for us than why the hell invest in them? i dont see logic in this at all , i mean you have to hack their dslrs with ML to get Raw! why dint Canon included this in 5dmark4? when they know people use it and its widely spread Maybe because they want you to get their CinemaLine? well anyways who gives shit if you like it thats what matters thank you

Ive rented 5Div has best autofocus on market Okeish 4k with old codec mjpeg also C-log update (comingsoon) GH5 best 4K ive ever seen yet Slomotion 180fps IBIS 5 axis you can forget about shaky videos for ever build in timelapse 6k photo Log Slow and innacurate autofucus now i recommend u go rent both and test them to your style i personaly went for GH5 it suit my needs
