Hmm...must be a bug! Canon 1DX Markiii films everything in 10bit 4:2:2 regardless of resolution from hd to 4k (Log must be enabled) in mov container H265. Maybe the files you got are 8bit 4:2:0 Is the image flat looking? I cannot test it as i cancelled my adobe sub, dm me i will send u some clips of 120p 4:2:2 😊

How do you know this have you tried R5 yet? Have you compaired them both in action? I bought my 1DXmiii last year before R5 was announced and i do 90% video main selling point for me was no fans best af on market and internal 5.5k raw As for calling people stupid.... knowing your reputation on this forum says alot.

For a sec i had hope maybe S1V was on horizone but then Raw update announcment came in so i guess that was major update for Pannasonic.

I reckon it will be close to 1dxmiii price point.

Where coming to a point were we dont have to relay anymore on sdi or hdmi cable in order to transfer masive files from A to B Id rather this solution instead of messing around with all them type c b d g cables 🥴

Thats one pain in butt that i cant get used too, is lack of tilt/flip screen! only solution if i dont want to lug around atomos is to use phone app for monitoring tho there is awful lag😪

First of all id like to apologize for downvoting your post @Super8 that was me bein childish 😆 now as for R5 coming to olympics thats not gona happen and i think pros would rather choose 1xd for ergo and durability R5 would be more like mini cinecam use maybe A cam if specs proofs for it who knows.
