Again really impressed by the images. 6400 looks manageable. Maybe a stop behind the A7rii?

For $1000 the videos look great - really need to see the low light and if it matches the A7Rii which is fantastic with a speedbooster.

Someone is offering me an a7s and shogun + all the gear for it for same price as my a7rii right now. Would save me having to buy a speedbooster too. Is the quality much better?

And this is why I still struggle to pull the trigger on an FS5...

I'm trying to decide between an fs5 and an fs7 for shooting weddings. I love the fs7 image but the ergonomics of the fs5 are really good too. Have around £10k budget- any advice? Would need a heavy duty tripod and accessories too (have lenses).

I was going to pull the trigger on an FS5 now i'm seriously tempted to go fs700 and 7q+. Just wish it had better ergonomics!

I've been using the A7rii with a c/y -> fe mount metabones speedbooster. Really makes the great contax lenses sing. Very happy with this combination for video. My favourite lens is the c/y 100-300mm 4.5-5.6 which is so much improved with the speedbooster.

I use the cheaper Sony/zeiss lenses like 55 1.8 when I want AF and then use all manual Contax zeiss . Cheaper and amazing quality. For £1000 I have 55 1.8 zony, cy 28 2.0, cy 85 2.8, cy 100-300 f4-5.6. Stunning glass that works on my nx1 too (when not using 16-50s).

Yep! It looks great. I will probably swap my GH4 for the NX1 to sit on the gimbal. I just love the NX1 video quality.

I ordered a DS1 a while ago and hoping it will arrive very soon. I'll give a short review on how I get on with it. It seems to be the real deal but will need some testing.
