I have expressed multiple times here that C200 is in reality a glorified, and overpriced, C100. I have used the 2 cameras extensively, and the C200 is half a step ahead C100, while we wished for it to be 2. If you do not care much about 4K and raw, then the C100mkII is one of the friendliest and straight forward cameras in the industry. If you want/need broadcast codecs and "advanced"(=which are the norn for most manufacturers) features then even the JVC LS300 delivers, for a 3000$ price tag and the ability to shoot brodcast quality 4K/60p (with an Atomos), and you can get FS5ii raw/Ursa mini Pro for cheap, and EVA for less cheap!

I both agree and disagree with you! Most of your points are valid. The Z video performance is being exaggerated a bit, it is a good move from Nikon though, certainly in the right direction. But when Nikon/Fuji have no expensive line ups to protect then they can go all in and produce the best of both worlds. Black Magic also, but from the opposite side, a video camera that eventually will provide great stills. A holographic imager maybe(per Star Trek!). I bet we haven't seen the hybrid that will determine the next generation of hybrids, yet. Not in form factor, not even in specs. Maybe 3-5 ? generations from now, we will shoot 8-16K video, and then choose pictures from there. There will always be highly specialized items, but for the rest, hybrid machines will be enough for most pros. Already are in a way, but in-build e-ND could bring us much closer!

The gimbal and flight are great, but I just noticed the right side is a little bit soft as well. I guess I have to send it back as well..

If you have time, wait to see all the players. At the moment, I work for a daily drama series, so I do not have much time to test. At first it seems a level above Crane 2, Crane 2 is very good already, but didn't fit the P4K exactly, and the Ronin seems like a very serious piece of equipment. Very well build and sturdy, but very heavy also. If I was shopping for my hybrid cameras I would have gone Weebill for sure. Ronin is just overkill.

I am purely judjing from the movement of both gimbals. I made my choice anyway.

Happened to some friends too. One friend of ours had a small jewelry business and they hacked her IG and posted porn. One other friend's account recently hijacked from someone in Turkey and asks him money to give access to his account. This case is still in investigation by the special e-force (a police department here specialized in e-crime). Next week we will know more. There are other cases I know from Malay and Russian hackers.

I agree, but I see the movement on the Ronin is much nicer. I got the Ronin S during Xmas, received it yesterday and just charged the ?!!

I posted on the other thread as well. What do you see?!

I see here the DJI has a much nicer movement. What do you people think?

On the contrary, I believe the impact will be global. UK outside EU weakens in every way the EU also. UK will be "fortified' in their island, like always do, but the rest of Europe does not have that luxury, or they do not want to. Germany is financialy the most powerful European state, but military, and for obvious reasons, is a joke. Europe can not "defend" themselves in any way. If Europe goes down, the rest of the western world will. This war is an info war, more than any other war in human history, and it has already started.

I never agreed more with you than your latest posts!

@BTM_Pix I said Britain will be fine, not the British. Especially my friends there that have a similar approach of what you described above are not very comfortable anymore. Studying and working there for 5 years I have too many connections that now are endangered. Isolationism is never a good approach. All in all, the people spoke, and the people are getting what they deserve.

https://www.imaging-resource.com/news/2019/01/08/wheres-canon-going-with-the-eos-r-do-they-have-a-plan This is very interesting. I believe he is beeing truthful and they get "our" feedback, but not much to do anyway!

https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/DaVinci-Resolve-15-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-2070-Performance-1264/ This is just a random article I was reading. Check their other articles about different aspects of performance and components.

It is a good solution for not wasting your phone's battery and whatnot, but my phone is 5.7-5.8" with around 650-700nits and I carry with me quickcharge 3.0 powerbanks anyway, + a tablet. They just waited to make the announcement after Christmas, while they will make a charming bundle really soon. DJI are becoming very good at milking us in any possible way. I spend 1499€, it would have been much nicer if it was 1399! @Robert Collins what ND/PL filters are you using? Do you have an opinion about Polarpro or Pgytech?
-
it takes 1 bomb for 100.000.000! It is more possible the 100.000.000 to turn against each other, than the government! The masses are very easily manipulated also.

I believe Britain will benfine too, they always manage for their own good, even though I was favoring a united Europe. We got it fine, when our problems is "which gimbal I am getting" everything is alright! Yes, he will be missed!

So maybe the BD/FX1 is what I need!

@kye i replied while I was in a difficult shooting with -3 degrees Celcious, which for my country equals to Polar temperatures, so maybe I did misjudged the statement. I seriously respect ALL jobs, and I mean that with all my heart. All jobs are important, all people are important is my motto. Imagine if there was no cleaning service anywhere, no garbage collection, noone that make your clothes or put together the pieces on your phone and your camera to make them whole. People process our food, build our houses, clean our streets, service us in restaurants - and I have done some of those myself, so I know what is like. In anyway, what makes this forum more interesting for me, is the knowledge and experience that working professionals share here. It is different to test a camera on your best friend's birthday party, and different than covering the event of a corporate client. Different when someone testing cameras on himself, on his spare room, and different when on a 50-100 people set for a major network. The weight of the decision gives weight to the opinion. That is the difference with DPR, 1 in 1000 has a valuable information there, if most pro's leave eosHD, then it will become a more videocentric DPR.

This is very insulting for us that chose the other way around. I breath images and sounds everyday, why do you believe this is lesser than what you do? I consider myself lucky, being able to survive from film and video. When you do a project somewhere, you get concentrated knowledge and experience unlike most "normal" jobs I know.

It is nice to see new/old players to bring new ideas! Do we know anything about specs? M43 sensors can be an amazing solution for video cameras, especially now that we know dual ISO is a reality.

I was trying to be harsh with the camera. If I am going to use it I will put F batteries on this one. Canon batteries are not practical for me. It could be possible to offer something like the Tilta grip in-camera (in the right grip). As of the 5" screen, the C200/C300 touch screen is 4" and costs 680$€£. That would be perfect also. The cooling system plays a very important role when you are shooting raw and prores in camera. The Tilta grip with the F battery, wheel for focusing and the Samsung SSD is an excellent solution, but then it widens the camera quite a lot. I am expecting my Ronin S today!

Zl0@Mokara I wouldn't talk back to @Snowbro. He has guns and knows how to use them! @User I bet you 14CAD that we live in the most peaceful and less violent era in human history! Most people (like women, immigrants and minorities) couldn't even vote a few decades ago, the most profitable profession for thousands of years was slavery. Rape was just a common, everyday thing. In Europe, they were burning people because they were owning cats. You know what I mean, they didn't have internet back then!

Seriously guys, it is not a big deal, he just doesn't like the camera. @webrunner5 is here for a long time now, definitely not a troll, just has his beliefs and he stays with them. Don't we all? Everything's going to be fine in the end (or not!) !! Just to mention a few negatives to make Don feel better. 1. The plasticky construction doesn't influence much confidence. It may be psychological, but it is a fact. 2. I didn't like the buttons, wheels. ? terrible.. 3. The form factor is "weird" at least. I would prefer something closer to Canon XC. Not convinient at all for - compact - gimbal use. 4. It was scary to do not know what voltage you have really left on your batteries. 5. Batteries! 6. I am trying to downplay it a bit, but I would love the screen to have a hinge, like the newer cameras have (I do not like fully articulated ones, just the up and down kind!). The size and excellent GUI compensates a little, but still..
