It love the Z6 and the output but I’ve always had a soft spot for Fujifilm and sort of waited for them to release a camera like this (IBIS, internal 10-bit, 4k60). There’s also something about the lcd and viewfinder lag when in video mode with the Z6 that annoys me and that I never really could get over. For stills though the Z6 is great and I might have to rebuy it when they finally release their compact primes

https://www.fujirumors.com/fujifilm-x-t4-first-official-product-images-leaked/ I think it looks sexy all boxy and black with sharp edges. Just worried it might overheat. Otherwise an instabuy- bye bye Z6.

Nokishita just leaked the full spec sheet. https://doc-0g-ao-docs.googleusercontent.com/docs/securesc/5nmdmcnfio76k738otv2dej37qfi8dhb/cmn1pi8n2jhv2u2d7ilm9uajg3ocatts/1582228800000/01433304230180543164/05935394919779228397Z/1iX8rilmgVJwsmYQKF145o3Cu8HJ8A0sR?e=download&nonce=3rpfss69n43fo&user=05935394919779228397Z&hash=enf3917f6e2i3spe7si0rvdr5g359fu0

First leaked images of the X-T4. Hard to tell but it doesn’t look huge and it’s certainly no X-H2 body wise. https://www.fujirumors.com/leaked-fujifilm-x-t4-full-size-images-front-and-back/

Yup. Makes you even wonder if the sensor is gonna be an “enhanced version” of the one in the XT-3 as he previously stated...
-
This is true. He is nowhere near Moriyama or Fukase, not even close.
-
If this camera doesn't overheat and doesn't perform worse in the rolling shutter department than the X-T3, I will give Fujifilm my money instantly. I haven't been this excited since I bought my first X100-series camera.
-
Really disappointing decision by Fujifilm. Tatsuo has the balls to shoot that way in Europe as well, as shown in this video. https://youtu.be/707nMSGq_R8

@androidlad Any chance of improved rolling shutter performance on the updated sensor?

How to receive a BAFTA as ungraciously as possible

That statement is not only ahistorical and incorrect, it’s downright disgusting. -

Wow. So because most white people don’t walk around feeling privileged removes the de facto privilege bestowed upon them for centuries? And the whole “political correct thing doesn’t connect with people” is just flat out condescending. So “ordinary people” can’t be allies, ie. decent human beings informed about questions regarding social issues? It’s so incredibly sad that these kind of topics on any forum always end up about the white man’s hurt feelings. As if the act of calling out racism is somehow inherently more hurtful than actual racism. “Politics is obsessed about skin color”, that’s funny because I think people in general are kind of obsessed about skin color (especially Sony’s on this forum), but it’s only now when the paler shade of skin is also named, not just taken as a neutral general thing. Then all of a sudden there’s an obsession - not when you scream the n-word or more recently make jokes about East Asians with regards to the corona virus. Nobody is trying to shame the hard working gaffer into believing anything, I think it’s more about including the hard working people of color when it comes to recognizing the industry. One doesn’t negate the other. And then the Japan example. Always the Japan example. Let’s not go to the extremely weird exotification of this “monocultural” country where everything is so special and great because of their monoculture. Because it isn’t. -

I think he was very coherent and everything he said was on point. He seemed a lot more unhinged when he gave his acceptance speech on the golden globes when he went on and on about climate change. Glad he speaks out on systemic issues though. Why shouldn’t he? -
I find these specs utterly laughable: 8k raw? 4k120? hahahahahah Oh, they posted some clarifications: 8K @ 30fps RAW As suggested on Twitter by a reader, this could perhaps be a timelapse feature. Things get messed up in translation and excitement. 4K@120fps & 4K@60fps It’s possible that the video features such as this could come with a heavy crop to get the heat down.
-
I think its really down to heat managment. Lots of tests out there show that the xt30 for example overheats rather quickly, even when recording externally
-
I love you androidlad! I truly hope we won’t have to expect overheating issues.
-
The guy running Fujirumors has however stated that his sources adamantly denies that the X-H2 has been scrapped. It will be released, according to them. I really don't like the rumor sites but Fujirumors usually gets it quite right.

A 15MP Sony Mirrorless Camera will be Announced Soon

I wonder what that “optical variable low pass filter” could be on the A7m4 -
Such a joke that the Parasite wasn’t nominated in this category.
-
Videographers in the field on assignment pretty much all over the world of course.
-
Agreed, but where i work (national broadcaster) photographers in the field almost exclusivele use the gh5 and now the s-h1. Apart from codecs and the xlr-adapter you wanna know why @jagnje? IBIS.
-
If Fujifilm indeed has implemented IBIS in the X-T4 as the rumors suggest, and it doesn't overheat or has terrible rolling shutter, it will be the best fast turnaround documentary camera to date, I believe.
-
Yo @androidlad what is the third secret camera? Is it the X-H2? https://www.fujirumors.com/fujifilm-x100v-and-fujifilm-x-t4-registered-and-announcements-on-february-4/

Just put the a7iii in full cinema mode and it will look awesome straight out of camera. It’s hidden in the menus.
-
Are you trolling? Because you are asking for a camera that hardly exists. You want clean ISO at 12800 for stills and video and with great continuous autofocus. The only camera that would suit you is the A9 or A9ii, but then the colors are wonky and you won’t get the picture profiles. The Z6 is great in low light with regards to both video and still (I own one) but it’s far from good enough to continually track focus in low light scenarios with erratic subjects.
