Yeah I think down the road Drones are going to be so regulated they will be banned from general use. Not for individual people, only law enforcement, scientific stuff, company's to check equipment etc. Not looking good long term.
-
Yeah somehow the C100's seem to do well in 8bit also LoL. Doesn't seem to make any sense scientifically, but Canon must have some secret sauce they use. Damn if I know. Defies logic.

Yeah that is true, but I would bet if the focus speed, shooting speed is as good, and add 7.5 stops of IBIS, and a body that is as comfortable I would think they would love to be able to use a 500mm, 600mm lens handheld and give up some DoF. 20mp is 20mp no matter if it is FF or m4/3 on for most normal stuff. Even in this day and age you can blow stuff up to crazy big sizes without much loss. I think Olympus thinks they can get some takers with just the IBIS and body size alone. Just lens OIS is really not super good on the really long lenses they use at the Olympics. I guess we will see. But yeah you are right they are not going to jump ship in droves. Now if people using them have better looking shots they will All jump ship LoL. That is pretty much what it is all about. A Tool to use to get results.

Well I have come up with this info. Looks like it does not have a clean HDMI output, and no sound over HDMI is what I see. So... It also has a Micro HDMI output, but this is not clean, showing a red dot in the frame (which could be cropped out in post if you are out to mimic a “2:35:1 cinemascope look by adding top and bottom black bars”)…. Also note that recording in 4K simultaneously internally and to a recording device is not possible. HDMI OUT terminal Type D HDMI output while recording (shooting screen without sound) available HDMI output to HDR compatible TVs* available The M50 has a Micro-B USB 2.0 port, a Micro HDMI Type-D port -- which supports HDMI output of the shooting screen without sound while recording.

Great stuff. The GH5 did real justice to the colors. Well done, music and all.

Yeah 3000 Dollars is Way out of my budget. ? Wow if it is still m4/3 that is pushing it pretty damn far. You ought to be able to buy a Sony a7s mk III when it comes out for not much more! I guess if it is as good as a 1Dx mk II, or a Nikon D5 for 3000 bucks, well yeah would be worth it,. But still out of my price range.

First look at Rectilux ProtoDNA - Variable diopter for 8mm scopes

You should have bought that Pink Flamingo instead LoL. Everyone in Florida is suppose to have one in their front yard. That looked liked a Voodoo Doll that put a hex on you. Well done. -
Oh I will agree with you. That is why I use a Sony A7s. But some cameras just don't work at all for me. I had a Olympus EM5 mk II with the grip and it was Way too small for my hands. Even the buttons seemed too small. But the Oly EM1 mk I I had seemed to fit me very well. I will admit I have a love affair with the Canon 1D bodies, but the longer lenses are just no fun to lug around, let alone the cost of them. Out of my reach money wise these days.

Video processor to view and convert MLV files on Windows. Yep PC only.

Well I have big hands, fingers. So I pretty much Have to have a Battery Grip. I have one on my A7s, and my pinky finger hangs below the bottom of the body without it. I can't even use my Sony RX10 mk I because the aperture ring on the lens cuts my finger it is that tight. So my circumstances dictate I use a camera that is a bit on the larger size I guess. But I weigh like 240 pounds so. Always been near 200 pounds even when I was younger.

Actually just using that tech that is in the Hero7 Black in a mirrorless would be pretty good. Sure i it is not so hot side to side, but walking running it gets the job done big time. I have Zero desire to run around with a Gimbal. None. They on average are just too damn fragile and you stand out like a sore thumb using one.

Somehow I get the feeling that Panasonic is loosing interest in all of the m4/3 cameras, especially the smaller, cheaper ones. Look at what little effort they put into the LX100 mk II. Why even bother. I think they must see the hand writing on the wall or something, and this FF thing is their future they think. I am pretty sure there will be a GH6, but after that hmm.
-
It was a trick on the original A7s also, They are Terrible for rolling shutter.
-
That looks like Chromatic Abrasions to me? It needs a Hot Mirror on the lens.

Oh hell you are half way there. Good job. I had a suggestion but now you are winning the battle. Proceed. ? This kind of explains Codec and Container, ergo Wrapper a little bit. "Simply put, a codec is a method for encoding and decoding data and more specifically, a protocol for compressing data, especially video. Selecting the right codec can depend on several factors. Target file size, output quality, and delivery method all factor in. Currently h.264 is the predominant codec on the web. In comparison, a container, is what holds the grouping of compressed video as defined by the codec. A container is also referred to as a format. The container takes care of packaging, transport, and presentation. The container is usually represented by a file extension. For example the MPEG4 container is usually represented by a .mp4 file type".

I am sure the cheap ones are not that good or they would not be as cheap as they are. I mean they are like a 1/10th the price of the Atomos ones. Has to be a reason. Sure for a monitor yeah, but for recording that is a different story.
-
Yeah and by doing that you help with Rolling Shutter when you are back into FF also.
-
Well it has 14 five star reviews out of 14. Can't be too bad. ? The last 2 reviews of the 14 say they are using it on a Atomos recorder. So sounds like a winner.
-
Hmm they must have come up with some new Voodoo Magic. I remember reading when they came out with the EM1 mk II that the IBIS was at the limit it could ever be. Anymore would be effected by the "rotation of the earth". Yeah, the is what they said. I guess they have defied Physics LoL. God damn I never forget anything LoL. Found it. https://petapixel.com/2016/09/26/olympus-says-earths-rotation-limits-image-stabilization-6-5-stops-max/

Yeah with all these new FF offerings, several at 2000 bucks like you said, and even the Fuji X-T3 at 1500 bucks, selling a m4/3 camera even at 1400 dollars is going to be hard sell to do down the road.
-
You sure you are not talking about the "7.5+ EV"? That would have to do with how far, low it can focus down to. Which sounds pretty crazy low to be honest. Like even -4 is crazy.

Their idea of Mini and mine is not the same LoL. Yeah compared to the Original Ursa it is mini. That thing is a Moose!. -
I would imagine when you add the grip and 2 batteries to the X-T3 it is not going to be too far off either weight wise. I can't find the grip exact weight. Just shipping weight. The Fuji T2 weighs 29.54 oz, 837 gms with battery and a loaded battery pack. The 1dx mk II weighs 53.97 oz, 1530gms. So a bit less than 24.43 grams or 1.5 pounds as heavy. Not that much really if the X-T3 weighs what the X-T2 does?
