On the DJI site the Phantom Pro 4 is $1799.00 and the Mavic Pro 2 is $1499.00. That is 300 bucks no matter how you look at it. That is a reasonable difference. I doubt they are going to be the same for less money. And you know and I know there is probably a Phantom Pro 4 mk II in the works as we speak. If I was buying one I would buy the Zoom one not the 1" Hasselblad version. The zoom thingy is pretty nice. Makes it look different than all the rest footage wise. Sort of a poor mans X5 using different lenses. Might be better to just buy an older Drone rip off the camera and strap on the new GoPro Hero 7 Black on it. I think the output and stabilization is just pretty great for what it is.

You know and I know that DJI is not going to give you everything on the Mavic Pro 2 that the Phantom 4 Pro has output wise. The Mavic Pro 2 is cheaper. They would go out of business if they did that.

I don't see a problem with the size of the pictures, and hell I am 71 years old LoL. Sure bigger would have been nice. But they are bigger than Instagram stuff that most people look at these days. Now I am looking at them on a 30" monitor, not my cellphone. I think he did about as good a job you can do with that many different cameras. How many people can even get their hands on all those cameras at once. Setting them on the factory settings is the only fair way you can test. 90% of everyone that buys one of those cameras never changes crap on them. Let alone shoots Raw. Not everyone in the world has the skill most of the people on here have, especially on the video side of them. Most people set it in dummy mode and away they go. And the Manufacturers all know that doing a factory reset gets the camera back to how the the average person wants the output to look like for them, or they would not have bought the camera to start with.. Auto or Program Mode what ever you want to call it these days is really pretty damn good. Most cameras now have really good WB and OOC colors. Heck I even do Auto my self at times for photos when I am in a hurry. Not far off from what I would set other than maybe aperture. Heck even Auto ISO is great now that most cameras are good at low light these days.

Yeah but when you figure You Tube is basically free, and Vimeo charges pretty much everyone, and they still aren't making it happen tells me that it is, and was, some real dumb ass people steering the ship as the say. I think they are like Sears, WAY to late to turn it around. And now they are just pissing off the people that they Really need to stay on.

I worked for General Electric for a time. I was a Test Cell Engineer at the Jet engine factory in Cincinnati, Ohio. I got laid off along with a TON of others. It went from 22,000 people to 5,500 people in 2 1/2 years. I was in Salary, so no seniority. And all we did for about 2 years of it during the layoffs was have more damn meetings. I bet I spent 3 to 4 hours a day, no shit in meetings. And guess what None of it really helped. They had planned it Way ahead of time from Corporate to cut everyone. There was no saving it. They moved most of it down south to South Carolina to a new factory that was non union. And about a 1/3 of it went to France to a joint venture called Safran Aircraft Engines, previously Snecma. So that was the end of that shit. That was over 20 years ago. Now even the South Carolina plant is nearly shut down. Most of it is ALL overseas now. Europe and the Far East. Not in China that I know of. Long story short, they have had this Vimeo thingy planned for years and it is set in stone by now. This woman is the Sacrificial Lamb for them. But she will make 15 to 25 million a year and when they fire her she will get a Golden Parachute worth 30, 40 million. Hell I would do that LoL. I would do it for 10 cents on the dollar!

Wow how do they expect people to even put this thing on a Tripod? Even a smallish Arca-Swiss plate is going to cover up the vents, let alone a long Fluid Head foot. That's crazy.

OK one from the 6D and the 5D mk II. Even they have different color science and they are nearly the same era. 6D left, 5D mk II right. Oh no doubt lenses have a big influence on color output. Not huge, but different. Canon lenses are slightly darker also.

They use the same lens. Jesus.

They are not lined up because they have way different MP sizes. And that test is from Imaging Resources. They have used the same test for 15 years on just about every camera made. I don't think you Can see to be honest.

I think you either need your eyes examined or a new Monitor if you think Canon still has the same Color Science on the 5D versus the 6D mk II. 5D on the left, 6D mk III on the right.

I think it is too late. They bought her in there to chop off some heads, and apparently she is damn good at it for the time being. I think the bought her in there to be the scapegoat. And they can blame it on her youth. And then they will hire some middle of the road CEO and get it back on track after weeding out the bad apples in their mind.

Yeah like it or not they have changed it. My favorite Canon color wise was the original 5D. It was a wedding shooters dream camera.

I have the original RX10 and the CS is well.. interesting to say the least. Along the lines of my A7s. You sort of love it or hate it. I like the grungy look of both. But they do have the early Green look to them no doubt.

Well I think for years and years Canon Had the best color science OOC. But now a lot of other company's have caught up with Canon. Heck like I said on here I think the new Sony's look more Canonish than Canon now. And I guess to most people according to his test Sony does LoL. The new Venice CS is no joke.

Well the problem with a lot of this is I have probably built over 200 computers from scratch. Maybe 25 for me, the rest for others. A lot of them, money, the sky's the limit, even for mine.. And some of them were crazy ass fast and some were not so hot. Just having the best components in a system does not guarantee great results. Everything has to be great for it to be great. And it all has to play nice with each other. And that is a damn hard thing to pull off I don't care what money you throw at it. Some components are duds right from the factory brand new. Some of them get better with time. Sort of a burn in. It is a total crap shoot. I would never spend the last dollars you have on the best of everything. I find Intel the best for CPU's and MSI the best for Video cards. AMD CPU's you have to overclock the shit out of them to get them to work and they die young because of it. And you can't have a big enough Power supply, and spend a shit pot on the motherboard. That way you can usually upgrade 1 to 2 times more before they are outdated. And the high end CPU's, GPU's hold their value damn well to re sell them down the road when you update. It all helps.

I can't seem to even find a picture Anywhere on the web of the Bottom of the PK4. Must be a trade secret! Maybe that is why there is No battery grip for it. Nobody knows what to build to fit it LoL. That Edelkrone HeadPlus, and the slider, with the focus control, is like 5000 bucks! Would be nice, but you would have to make a living using it for that kind of money, or renting it out.
