Actually I was referring to Buckminster Fuller and His Bucky Balls LoL. Not that I really have Ever seen His balls in person! ?

I find them both too distracting to the main subject. Neither one to me is good. Instead of drawing your attention to the model, it is Bucky Balls that are the Focus, or out of focus in this case. But I am sure it is a frame grab in the movie you shot, so it would be a minor blip in the production, therefore irrelevant to the overall outcome. ?
  3. Bloody Hell! Reminds me of Real Snuff Films back in the day. Hmm. I really don't see any EVA1 DNA in it to be honest. I watched 3/4 of it and stopped. Not my cup of tee.
  4. You can buy a used Oly EM1 that has PDAF for less than 500 bucks. Even works great with the old 4/3 lenses. Not much of a video camera though. EM1 mk II is not too bad at video,. Not a GH5 by any means, but..
  5. And it will have rolling shutter with telephone poles that will look like the palm trees during Hurricane Micheal just did. ?
  6. Even that Red Bull planes flying video has the same Funeral Home look to it. God, it is Horrific.
  7. Why is all of this Z7 footage look so Dark, and Horror Movie looking?? Kind of depressing. ?
  8. Trailer for it. Yeah it got the job done. And it in 2012 it was pretty special for something Bob could just go down the street and buy the camera. We have come a Long ways since then.
  9. Oh no doubt on the handling side you can do a Lot better. But 10,000 bucks is a hell of a long haul from 1000 bucks. And I doubt not many of those even in that price range will beat the ultimate output this thing has. Hell there aren't many that have even beat the original BMPCC at any cost. Raw is a great equalizer.
  10. Oh heck yes I would go with the Fuji also if one choice. All it has to offer is too hard to turn down. If it had IBIS they couldn't make enough of them LoL.
  11. Well I think it is more of a what your needs are for speed. Do you Need something that you can get out the door in 2 hours, or do you want the very best you can do for the money at a much slower result. This still ends up being a CIne camera versus a Mirrorless even though the PK4 is a Mirrorless. They are totally different animals. I think you are going to see a lot of the same looking stuff somewhat Easily shot on the X-T3, and some pretty crappy stuff shot on the PK4 due to the fact it is going to take skill to get something good out of it, let alone great. And the two of them will be impossible to match output wise if a person decided to buy both. Sure the X-T3 is more overall versatile than the PK4. So for normal stuff the Fuji wins, heck so does all the other mirrorless cameras. But for the ultimate quality it has to go to the PK4. No winner I guess, just different machines. It would be nice to have both.
  12. Yeah Raw is Always going to win with good grading skills. Look at the Canon ML results. And so is ProRes, especially with company's that have good Color Science. It is the better Codec because it is 10, 12, 14 bit and has a data rate out the wazoo. I have been seeing better grading from just what seems normal people than BMD themselves seemed to produce in the beginning. Kind of odd to me. So there is hope for this camera. But you better load up with recording media and a shit pot full of batteries. Sort of sounds familiar doesn't it. ?
  13. Yeah the newer Venice CS is a big improvement for the average person with the newest Sony's.
  14. Yeah but we have no footage with it. We don't really know how well it does work yet.
  15. I think most of these newer cameras have got auto WB, auto Exposure down to a tee anymore. So most stuff is coming out popularly exposed. And heck they have more DR now than ever. So in essence it is getting harder to screw stuff up unless you goof up, are in a pretty terrible situation. Even these new Logs, C Log, N Log, F Log are not a crazy Log like say Sony S Log 3 is. So they are more forgiving, for most stuff, most people shoot. And NLE's have gotten better also. More auto correction stuff available. So it is just easier to get it right, right in camera. Is it as good as it can be, well no. But good enough for most viewers. People with great editing, grading, coloring skills are Always going to shine on their output. But the gap is getting narrower every year, and the camera gap narrows also.. You could really take some of these new mirrorless cameras and put the guts in a normal Cine body and no one would be the wiser. They are getting that good.
  16. I think a Red camera is about the last camera in the world I would use for taking video of people being interviewed. That is Canon Cine territory, especially skin tones and DPAF. I don't think I would be looking for a Cine look for that.
  17. Yeah I have been pretty impressed with the Nikon Z7. But is is also pretty expensive. The Canon EOS-R is their cheaper one. But still no excuse to have the same old soft 1080p footage in this day and age. It is not like they don't know how to do good 1080p. Look at a C100, one of the best there is.
  18. Yep, I stand corrected. 1.29 crop. Too many new cameras out. That is actually not too bad. ?
  19. Yeah along with the 1.5x crop of the sensor to start with!
  20. Only Helicopter I have ever flown is a a few Huey's from the Vietnam era. If you didn't have to pee when you got on it you sure as hell had to 5 minutes into the flight! And peeing out the open door of a Helicopter at 100 mph is a real treat. I don't see, pun, how the Pilots saw the gauges to fly the damn thing with their eyeballs bouncing around.
  21. It lasts longer than the original BMPCC. Hey it is headed in the right direction. ?
  22. Yeah that is true. Yeah but if it has a crop from hell, the Fuji does, you are going to have a lens from hell size wise to get wide enough. Heck of a lot more to 120p that just the body.
  23. That sort of crosses off ANY camera.
  24. Well probably few remember this but when the GH5 and the Oly EM1 mk II were being developed Panasonic helped out Olympus with some video features, and Olympus, in exchange helped Panasonic out with IBIS. So it is no surprise that both cameras are pretty close IBIS wise. And so no surprise Olympus jumped ahead, for them, on the video side.
  25. That footage looks like crap. That looks like Sony A6300 1080p footage!
