On Vimeo you can download the file. So that is a plus. I think it looks damn good. I don't think we are going to see the same look as the original BMPCC when it is shot in 4K. But I doubt it is ever going to look exactly the same, whether for better or worse. Like it or not, that was some great looking skin tones, and impressive DR. But yeah I agree somewhat about the thickness. But I want to see 1080p also. That is where it might compare better.

I doubt anyone knows that yet? I would guess it doesn't, at least in Photo mode. I use DXO, and it does it automatically if I Want for photos. Now video, hmm.

Well I am not too sure how much data even a modern Sensor can pull out of the shadows like that grab is? You have to admit there is detail, probably a lot more than a Black Hole like most cameras before it would have. I guess we will have to see. But I hope you are not expecting a a RED Monstro 8K VV with 17+ claimed stops of dynamic range for 1299 bucks LoL.

I would surely think Nikon and Canon both have Moles in each other's company to sort of know what each other is doing. I can't imagine Canon would let Nikon have a better Video product. That would be embarrassing as hell.

Yeah I took this with my Panny G7 using the 14-45mm kit lens hand held. It is straight OOC.That is the very first kit lens Panasonic ever made and I think they are actually the best one they ever made. For the money a Panny G7 is just too good to pass up. I know it doesn't have IBIS, but for less than 400 bucks at times what is really better. And it does 4K.

Yeah in this day of computer generated lenses recipes the days old endless trial and error are over. Look at all of these company's making Cine lenses now. Who the heck but Cooke and Zeiss could afford to do that years ago. I am not saying they are up there with those two makers, but they are making them none the less with pretty good results,and on the cheap. Sure some are rehoused off the shelf stuff, but some are the real Mc Coy. But yeah the new Nikon lenses do look good, I mean they have been doing this for awhile. ?

Yeah it's 4K on my computer. But yeah it is not BMPCC looking, but it didn't have 4K either, so we don't really know yet?

Well the reason is that the Foveon sensor takes so damn much processing power that is really impossible to have a video stream of all that data. Sigma in a sense has been doing computational computing for years when nobody had even heard about it, and to make the Quattro sensor particularly to get it to work. Heck they can't even really make it do 1fps in Photo Raw Mode with any real dependability, a short 3 fps in JPEG and wait for half a minute, and shoot another short burst LoL. That is why the original Quattro body shape was so weird looking, It is basically a giant heat sink. They are a crazy strange camera, but once you have one you never feel the same about any other camera output wise. They have no Morie' and have micro contrast out the behind.
