  1. Well I went mostly with m4/3 because of the adapted lenses to be honest. I am sort of big enough to be able to carry FF DSLR stuff. ? But wow when I first got into m4/3 you could buy old lenses at pawn shops for 20 dollars a bag full. They twisted your arm to get them out of the shop! There was Flee Market in Fort Myers, Florida and a guy there must have had 300 of them. 30, 40 bucks for Zeiss stuff. A million Minolta, Pentax lenses. Hog Heaven as they say.
  2. I think it is called the laws of Physics. ? I don't think they will ever be able to make really fast zooms lenses, none at least we could afford to buy, or want to carry! Couple of 4/3 zooms that are f2.0, but would only work on a EM1, EM1 mk II. http://lenshero.com/lenses/zoom-f2.8-lens-by-Olympus
  3. Yeah that is about as bad as it gets. If that is what is the best it can do I would not pay 500 bucks for it. ?
  4. Yeah but it is 500 bucks! And that SLR lens is sold. And No I didn't buy it. ?
  5. Kind of reminds me of the series Zoro years ago! Pretty fun show as a kid. Lot better days then than it is for sure than now. Crazy world now.
  6. A little flatter than I would like to see, a shame, JVC has really great colors, but really nice camera work. Great audio mix also. Well done.
  7. Yeah but for 200 bucks more you can buy the Atomos Ninja V and it does 4K 60P and BT2020, and it is 1000 nits. Seems like a better long term deal to me. Sure no SDI port but how many people Need that and they are adapters to do that workaround. Hey all this stuff is changing fast as hell. Sure some of the older stuff works with the older stuff. But you are behind the curve as soon as you buy that stuff. Then in a year or two you can't give it away.
  8. Yeah but how bright is the screen going to be on the PK4? I find 4K VA too much money now for what you get, and 7" to boot. You know it will be even more if it has a better screen. And the 5" one at only 1080p ain't making it in this day and age, and it is pretty expensive also.
  9. Yeah crazy cheap for it. Sigh. If I had a use for it I would have bought it, but I have other needs as they say.
  10. Perfectly stated! They are good at it no doubt. I kind of figured Nikon was going to come out swinging, because in reality they Had too. Looks like it might evolve to become a really nice product. Canon is really going to have to pickup the pace to beat it. Not sure if they will use the 5DS R 50mp type sensor or what. They are going to have to go higher than the 5D mk IV 30mp that is for sure.
  11. Make it so as they say on the Enterprise!
  12. I have heard that the 24-105 f/4 is pretty noisy on the C100 focus wise? Going by what I have read about it. Never owned it.

Most of them I have seem have had the crap beat out of them, So they tells me they are a lens you sort of weld on and forget! Yeah at a Pound Sterling a mm you got a good deal.

Wow I Always wanted that lens. Looks like you have a really good copy of it.
  15. I am not too sure you Really need AF for a lens that wide. I mean at 16mm pretty hard Not to get everything in focus. ? Getting things out of focus, now that is the real problem with it!
  16. I don't think you are going to find any earthshaking news about these Nikon cameras on the video front. Unless it is 10 bit, what are they going to bring to the table. It sure isn't 4K 60p...
  17. Well you get what you pay for. You are not going to get a Leica lens for even the list price LoL.That is like 50% off the list. You will not find one cheaper. And if you don't like it they will take it back.
  18. Have you seen this write up on it? Might help, I don't know. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_up3214q.htm#conclusion
  19. One for sale cheap as heck at Adorama. $89.00. https://www.adorama.com/us 1032240.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwk_TbBRDsARIsAALJSOaH08pSJpuy4R0KbibgtUTHOWRcSQ1OBFg_v78oqSQJ5xJtJhjfcQwaAlbcEALw_wcB
  20. Hmm I thought a larger sensor gathered more light, or no less per square inch compared to a smaller one. F2 is F2 is F2 no matter the sensor size on exposure.
