Yeah but it is like @Robert Collins said," I don't see a future for Olympus in the camera business", I don't either sad to say. The EM1 mk II has sort of been a flop to be honest. Nothing else really new from them either. Without them m4/3 is looking pretty damn slim. JVC isn't selling the heck out of LS300's, and the DVX200 was no hot cake thing either in the long run. Now the new PK4 might help, but they aren't going to sell Millions of them. With FF cameras near, or the same price as Panasonic higher end m4/3 cameras I don't know about that no matter how good the video is on them. Panasonic isn't even the power house they were for TV's years ago. Not looking like a great outlook long term for them unless they do some s35, FF stuff on the cheap. But there isn't room now with Canon, Nikon in there. Interesting.

And nobody buys those damn cameras. Young people, and even soccer moms use their Smartphones now. Low end DSLRs are a thing of the past. Those stores never have high end cameras. I laugh every time I go by them. I go to pawn shops a lot and there is a million of them collecting dust that they can't give away. If you want one of them you can buy them on Craigslist for 80 bucks kens and all. Canon isn't selling that stuff here in the USA.

Face detect, Eye detect, Clear Zoom, IBIS that works, AF that works, s35 crop mode, on and on, you get the point. They are going to have to have all that and more just to be even let alone like, Gee I am going to switch systems. There is not enough Nikon users left to carry them forever. They are going to have to get people to switch. It will have to be Jesus Christ good. I don't see that happening, not with their first effort anyways.

Out of likes. Well stated. Yeah I have a Olympus EPL1 and a with a 20mm f1.7 is the way to go. It takes pretty amazing photos for a 14mp sensor. They have a super weak anti-aliasing filter in them. Even has IBIS! Now video, ehh 720p. I paid like 48 dollars for the body years ago on Amazon!

They will be lucky the High end one will be as good as a Sony A7 III. I just don't see it happening. They would have to get 40 things right. That is damn near impossible. No it's Impossible. Sure for Photo shooters they might get it right. For Video, ehh they would have to had stole 50 Sony engineers LoL. Yikes!

Yeah but they didn't just develop these cameras in 2 months. They have probably been in the works for over a year. And both of those Sony cameras are newer than that. They are not going to Surpass Sony on specs right out of the box. They have looked a the body design weakness, sure, but to have all these specs people are looking for, I just don't see that happening. I see the Z7 as sort of what a D850 should have been , and will probably be. Their chance to add video worth a crap to their bodies, not an after thought. Yeah, I have wanted the Sigma SD H for a long time. But I don't have Any lenses for one, and that is the real cost. I can't afford one system let alone 2. ?

I think they May have copied the Sony A7II, / RII specs. I think you are giving them WAY to much credit on a first try. And that Rear screen may be a bit like the Sigma SD one.

I agree, you are allowed to step back further and use a longer lens. Now if you are standing on the top of a telephone pole, well yeah your screwed one way or the other! ?

I would think most of the Voodoo Magic sauce is in the processing engine. I mean all but Sony use different manufacturers sensors and they still can maintain the Same look to their products. Sure the look may get refined, but not changed at it's basic core output. I suspect this new PK4 will have somehow the same look available as the BMPCC had, and a Ursa look thrown in for good measure. ?

You have to copy them to some folder and use the "choose Files" thingy on the bottom left. I don't Have to upgrade my monitor. But it is Only 2K and would be nice to be able to see 4K content and have ta better Color Gamut. But my current one is 30", so in 4K I would think I would need a 32" at my advanced age to be able to read much of Anything on it LoL. Sort of what my one eye does so....

Yeah but don't you think now at this time it might be "Good Enough" if we went with one of the HDR-600 standard Monitors? I am sure that I won't be able to tell the difference and the cost has to be tons cheaper.
