Hell when I was in my third business I had 1 of those Bag Phones, and a Brick phone, and 2 Pagers. In this country the Bag phones were like 5 watts compared to around 1.5 Watts on the regular phones. So they had a Lot more distance they were good for. And that was a Huge plus for my Excavation Company. Yeah Max is getting screwed but he is not alone. I think in the future there will be no CPU's at all in computers. They won't be needed. GPU's for some reason, way beyond my knowledge, are Way better suited for multiple computations. I know they have Tons more cores than any CPU. And do re writes at unbelievable speeds. Intel, AMD are on their way out. Nvidia is just plain kicking ass as of late. And Resolve seems to be about the only NLE maker that is taking advantage of GPU's.

Yeah but it is a cheap way of holding it even when in use, not counting when you are thinking about your next moves, or changing setting, a lens, etc. Hey the price is right.

Two things I see happening with You Tube that tells me unless they throw out the top management or the owner, is You Tube it's self is getting Way too greedy, and the people on it are getting Way too greedy by posting stuff nearly daily to get hits to make money. Both are a recipe for disaster. I have seen a Lot of company's come and go over my lifetime. And almost all of them make 2 or 3 of the same mistakes. And You Tube is already doing one of them.

Yeah a little on the weak side, and still soft 1080p footage to boot. At times it is nice to have it soft like it is, but I would sure like the option to soften it, as to not really being able to have it sharper when I want or need it to be with out having sharpening artifacts from hell..

Oh I am not arguing about the Focal Length. I really like that mm. It is the f 1.2 part I would not like. On a FF camera you have one eye in focus and the other not. But different strokes for different folks as they say.

Seems to be reality with no explanation. You Tube and Vimeo, to me, might as well fold up and go away as of late. Their best days to me are over. They both seem to be pissing away a crazy opportunity and are clueless to boot. They Need new blood at the top or somebody is going to eat their lunch, and do it in a heartbeat. Well there is a lot of Chinese knockoffs. I am sure some of them will be pretty good quality wise for the money and may actually work out for you. There are way too many of them from really small, to large to comment on any one of them. It depends on the camera, lens combo, and the money you have to spend and needs. I do not envy you on the decision you have to make. It is between reliability and cost, need and usage. No one good answer to any of them, costs wise or desirability. They all have their plus and minus on the Electronic or Mechanical ones. But I would have to err on reliability in your circumstance. And that is totally open to debate. There has to be other people than me than have an opinion on this matter.

And it Really works LoL. It would be perfect for what you are doing. Because you have a Monopod right in it.I have had, and have 2 different electronic Gimbals now. They are Fragile as hell, even expensive ones. The arm that the camera is on is stupid easy to break on them. When you turn the power off on them they are limp as hell, swinging all over the place. No way I would Ever go to Africa and try and film people with one unless I had 2 spare ones! I am telling you it WILL break. Somebody, kids mostly, will want to hold it, Bingo, dead on arrival. Standing in your driveway, and out in the Bush is two completely different environments. They are not made for rough use unless you buy the Movi one that cost 3000 bucks. And even that you can break it. The motors on them are like toy stuff. They were designed for making small Robots, not for taking a beating out in the woods. To save money and weight the cheap ones use cheap ass stuff in them, plain and simple. The Only one I can see that Might work is the DJI Ronin-S, and it is not cheap and it is Big and Heavy.

No such thing as a very light but effective steadycam LoL. What is the money you are willing to pay? I can tell you now if I was you out in the bush as they say I think I would buy a mechanical Steadycam over the electronic ones. How you going to charge the batteries? What if it goes belly up? You can't kill the good original Steady Cams. If you use the same lens a lot I see no good reason for an electronic one.
