What is your opinion of the Dual ISO feature in real use? I would think that would have be a Plus over the C200 also?

One of the shots I got today with my Sony A7s. This Harley was just beautiful in real life. It had Ghost Flames in it. You need to open it up.

It is not that it is Just Raw so much, it is that most cameras that Do shot Raw do it in a 10-16 bit environment. No the typical 8bit, 10 bit in low Codecs that are common to them., like they do in say the 5D. So there is in reality usually a 1 to 1 1/2 stop boost using Raw efficiently. That means editing it right also. You can screw it up as easy as you an help it if you are clueless LoL. The main advantage to Raw is that in reality you can't under, or overexpose the output unless you REALLY screw up. So you have all the DR you can possibly get out off the sensor, bypassing a lot of the added processing in that Raw file. So you get what you see thing more than what the camera Normally wants you to see with it's onboard processing engine.

I like the idea of using the Gratical Eye that way being able to be raised so you can cradle the camera better, and and get a different prospective. Short was very well done as usual. The camera is getting the job done now doubt.

A lot, well some now in reality, use Graduated ND filters more than the "normal" ones. Pro's probably use the Normal ones a lot more. Now most Medium and Large Format shooters use them all the time. It is a lot more laid back, and they are a lot more serious about their work on average. But I doubt many non pros use them at all anymore. Probably in reality way easier to just do multiple exposures or the HDR way, and the heck with ND filters on Photo stuff. And if you are a Wiz in Photoshop you can make just about anything happen if you want it to these days.

Well if you made mistakes I sure don't see them. That was pretty awesome. Man BMD sure has some crazy good cameras. I can't wait for the 4K BMPCC.

It will work on a BMPCC so that is a plus if you have one, but not if you are using a Speed Booster..

Which one you have, The H or the regular model, and how do you like it? I have had a lot of Sigmas. And I have considered the H model. But I hate to buy a set of new lenses to me for one.

Yeah I have had a Ton of analog, digital synthesizers from the start much to my first wife's chagrin.. I always laugh when I see someone with an old Moog using it to sound mostly like a Piano! ? You know in this day and age I don't really see any need, other than Maybe slightly smaller lenses for them , for a APSC camera at all! I think even Fuji is stupid still pushing them. With Mirrorless FF cameras so small there is no need in hell for them now. I bet the Sony A7 mk III has a smaller body than the Fuji XT2. And it is. Now how stupid is that!! Yeah but I think it is like Anything that is new. You use the hell out of it and then you get tired of it. It is a passing fad. That is why company CEO's stay awake all night thinking of new crap to come up with when we get tired of what we already have. And that is the reason Bell Bottom pains come back in every 20 years. From what I have read Only the Sigma lenses work well on the mc11 adapter. Native EF lenses are not so hot on it. But the price right! I have never used the Art lenses so no clue how good they work. Jon does know lenses I realize that. I didn't realize the mc11 adapter is built into them on non native mounts?? They don't look any longer than any other lens I have ever seen. I know they make a different mc11 adapter for each type of mount, ergo, Sony, Canon, etc..

I know of no new lenses Sigma made for the SD cameras?? Sure they came out with the Art lenses, but that was new for all cameras at the time. And you can use any of the old ones as far as I know? Now i know Sigma cameras are known for fast AF, but I know the system does work. But I can see there is some limitations with the some of the older lenses. Wow I don't see all that happening with either Nikon or Canon on their first tries in FF Mirrorless territory. I see both trying to be more safe than ballsy. But you have a good point, why buy them if all they are is pretty much the same old shit in a new form factor!

I really think there is enough room in it for ND's in a Canon version. It would have to sort of look like the new SD Sigma's do. They came out with a Mirrorless body that uses the same Sigma mount. Why would Canon not do that? Man having the same mount, Big time Deal! No new lenses to buy, and ND's to boot, hell yes! Maybe Nikon is doing what I suggest. That might put a dent in some Sony, Canon sales!

If Nikon is really coming out with these Mirrorless cameras I think Sony Has to announce something new to keep Sony's name alive during that news cycle. Maybe the A7s mk III, And a New A9 mk II. ?

Interesting is that Vegas is pretty much geared toward Sony cameras. You would think it would go like heck. But hasn't Vegas been bought out by some other company from Sony?? Maybe 15 isn't tweeked like 14 was? Maybe they made it worse LoL. It happens at times.
