It kind of looks like a 10 dollar lens in a good way but maybe only because of the content of the shot! I bet it would have looked better on a Arri Alexa, so no good option. I say if you stick to one camera brand and I think you get better at it's good points, and weakness, the end result is a better output with a lot less hassle. There is Way too much temptation anymore LoL. But like Panasonic or not, there is one hell of a lot of video stuff shot on them. Best buy for the money for what you get in my opinion..

Interesting thoughts. The DPAF Might have been a reason, heck even Sony has it in their phones now I think. I don't know. Sony supplied a LOT of sensors for Canon. I doubt they had Samsung by the balls about DPAF. I would say Samsung had Canon more by the Balls sensors wise. Since they bought out Toshiba they pretty much have nearly everyone by the ass if they want the latest tech. Even all the MF cameras are using Sony now. They have a hell of a grip on the market. I guess we still don't know who made the Sensor in the GH5s yet, but it sure does smell like a Sony one. I just don't see how Panasonic could afford to build it for as few sensors that will be produced. They are not going to sell a Million GH5s cameras. But Sony could from all the buyers of their Sensors. Now if Panasonic had made the Sensor s35 size they could have used it in all their Cine cameras and potentially sold a lot more. I would think Panny could have fit a s35 sensor in a GH5 without the IBIS unit in it?

The trouble with this is if they go belly up does your stuff go with it? Food for thought. That is the problem with encrypted stuff.

I think the GH4 had both if I remember right. By that I mean it could be set to automatically do it or not. This is for the GH5. which does it also. I guess that is what you are asking about? From what I read, never had one, the NX1 doesn't have 180 degree setting?

Don't get a Canon! I have had 3 of the last high end ones, and their color print longevity just sucks ASS. Get a Epson! It is a 42 pound boat anchor now. I just use it to print out Airline tickets.

Sounds like you need a Apple product. No ads in them because it only represents 10% of the computers in the world, so why bother putting Ads on that few. I probably haven't used the start menu on my computer for a year. You might be right, who knows. And most of the updates are security one's. I would Hope they keep up with them. I have both. I would argue that Apple iTunes is the biggest whore ad thing in the world hands down. And my Apple 10 has WAY more updates than my Samsung Note 8. So in reality they both suck.

I was a Beta tester for Windows 10 hell 3 years ago it seems. I have Never had a problem with it after like Beta version 3. Windows 7 is like running windows 95 in this day and age. That was what I was running before 10. It is day and night different, but in a good way. People complain about Bloatware. Shit it is that way since it has way more features. You think a program is going to get smaller that has more stuff to offer? It is like the same crap people complain about Sony menus. It is Huge because it has a ton of features most of the others don't have. Hell if you don't even have 4k, face detect, IBIS, EVF, on and on I can have a menu that is only 1 page! Can it be better, well heck yes, but it Ain't going to be 2 pages long. Get 10, it works and has worked for years now. It is sort of foreign at first, no doubt about that.

But a Sony A6300 is pretty damn good looking output wise in 4k. If you Don't swing it around that helps a Lot..

Yeah but to me the BMPCC still looks the best for a film look. Still killer looking in this day and age for cheap money .But for the general public the GX80 would be hard to pass up. Now the Sony A6300, Everyone ought to pass that up!

I give up, it for some reason looks lighter than the frame in Resolve. It looks like the one frontfocus posted. So he is not far off from what I had.

I had a good looking grade from hell LoL. I can't figure out how to export a single Tiff file in Resolve to save my Ass. It keeps wanting to make it a Movie which is sort of what Resolve is!

Gee Kidz I looked at it on my Samsung Note 8, and to me it just looks like pretty damn good 1080p. Not sure about 4k HDR?? Even on my 2k 30" monitor it looks, well, like 1080p? I read the reply's about what cantsin suggested, not totally buying it, but worth a try. Interesting concept. I seem to remember something like it ehh few years ago on DVXuser.com. Seems to work but ehh, maybe not? But there is no way I see to set the viewing Resolution on your video that I see, so maybe it really IS set to 1080p for me??? What stuck me the most was that guy in the chair had to at one point in time had one SORE ASS head when he got those Tats LoL. He must have had to sleep face down or standing up for a week!

I have both the Note 8 and the iPhone X and the Note 8 is a Lot easier for my big hands than the Apple. I know the Text can be enlarged on the X with one of their later firmware updates, but hell Samsung has had that feature for years. The Note 8 has a lot bigger and better screen than the X also. I traded in my iPhone 6s plus for the X, I like the X other than the damn home button missing, Christ swiping up a thousand times a day gets old. Why the hell didn't they do what Samsung has done for years since they got rid of a physical button! Stupid. Well it was stupid for Apple to have a Big Ass button on their later phones to start with. I can see the first few. It was brand new tech then.
