Well as many YouTube videos there are there is no way in hell some of them are not going to offend somebody. So unless the people that want to advertise on there don't grow a damned thick skin, I guess UT is dead. I mean there is videos on there from like 10 years ago or more. They Never delete one just like Vimeo doesn't ever either. No one in their right mind can expect YouTube to go through every video that gets uploaded, I don't care what kind of electronic screening scheme they can come up with.

Very good response. I agree with your points. Nothing should ever be written in stone on lighting. You know and I know music videos are probably lit like a Christmas tree. But we probably don't see it in the finial output, they are very good at their craft, or they can afford to hire someone who is..

Well the big problem about using flash and lights, is that it changes the look of what you are trying to shoot. There is hardly any bar or concert in the world that has the band all lit up when you go see them. Bars are the worse hands down. But if you light it, it looks unnatural as heck. Hey I am not against lights, and lighting. It does add drama, a scary effect, and compliment people, especially women's faces. But we now live in a new era, where we have cameras that Are good at shooting on low light. We don't always have to do the same stuff people did 50 years ago. They would not have done it always either if they had a Sony A7s then. Think outside of the box. Plus we can't afford tons of lighting equipment, or the people skilled at using them. Now if you are doing a sit down interview, well yeah, you Need lighting.

I think a lot of you are not really thinking this through. Sure they use lighting in movies. But hell guess what, the movies we go see have lighting rigs that that a f ing semi truck to get them there. 6,000 watt lights that take a generator to run them. You are not going to light up half a city block with little piss ass LCD lights from Amazon we can afford! Get real.

Well I am sort of a big fan of the A7s because I don't see a lot of situations where you can use f .9 and get anything in focus. I know on a m4/3 camera that is really f 1.8, but that is still some narrow ass DoF to play with. So I think using a A7s in dark portions of a shoot IS a damn good option to have. Would I have it as my main camera all the time. Well, if I had enough money to have it as a "B", camera well no. But as your Only camera, I can think of a hell of a lot worse ones to have. Now trying to cut it into a movie with a Gh4, GH5, well that would not be easy as hell I would admit. With a A6300, A6500 now that works.

Ah we All have a bad day at times. Makes us stronger I think. It was an unfortunate event, but I sure as heck am not going to loose any sleep over it. This is too good of a Forum to have that effect us, even in the short term. I don't see any reason for you to feel responsible. It was what it was. I guess it was a learning experience, and I welcome different opinions and thoughts. But I guess as the old saying goes, Discussing Politics and Religion neatly Always leads to hut feelings. It is Taboo for a reason I guess. I hope we all move on one this because I consider a lot of people on here as friends, and that is something I have never had a lot of in my life.

Jesus Christ, ditch that F' ing Music!! I had to turn down the volume all the way by the end! But the video showed good results.

Holly crap, that is just awesome. No one could even begin to focus that fast in manual mode. Camera envy on my part. What lens, 12-35mm, 12-60mm?? The 14-140mm, no way? If so what version?
-
I thought I saw one little spec of dust around the Bananas, but I was wrong LoL. The heck with the camera, I want your House! Nice video. Shows it's strengths for sure. Looks like yours works.

Well Jimmy said it in a more mild manner than I was going to say is, That yes they are out doing it, and I am sitting here on my ass talking about getting out and Doing it LoL! If I spent 1/50th of my time shooting as I do sitting on my ass looking at articles, and reviews, forums, hell I would have already won a Oscar for Cinema Photography!! Yes you can learn at lot on the web, but the only real way to learn your camera is to get out and use it, screw it up, well change something, try again, and again, and again!

Apple talk dramatic 2018 Mac Pro update amidst multiple controversies

LMAO. Well I like to build my Own computers, I have for at least the last 25 years or more, and there is just very little gaming software for a Apple. But they make some damn good machines. But I just can't, well won't pay, nearly double the price for so damn many limitations. Now their monitors, well those are nice. And like I said they make beautiful looking stuff. I can't argue about that point. -
I have never seen these before. But wow they are expensive. http://www.letus35.com/anamorphic-adapters/ This link with them also. http://www.letus35.com/anamorphic-accessories/

Apple talk dramatic 2018 Mac Pro update amidst multiple controversies
webrunner5 replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Well I have been a pretty hard core gamer most of my life, and Apple computers just suck donkey, you know what, for doing gaming. I have owned several desktop and laptop Apple computers. They are, were beautiful looking machines. But they always lacked the HP that "I" needed. But for a foolproof, even your mom can operate it, I will give that to Apple. But do I want to buy one now? No way in hell. And Apple is just a damn whore for the iTunes, apps part of it. They try to get every damn penny they can out of you. And their stupid ass sign in shit every time you do anything is, well is A Pain in the ASS. And my iPhone has a damn update every week. Get your shit together to start with, not use us as a Ginny Pig. -
