Yeah when you scale it up that high that is not Real resolution, Not native. My Monitor basically has just One native resolution whether I like it or not. Hey I scale up stuff myself because I am 72 years old with a gimpy eye. But that is not a real 2K what the monitor is rated at. And I still can hardly see it without a Windows, not the monitor, gimmick being used on it. I scale it @ 133% and it is a 2K monitor, 30" sIPS.

Has to do with something about the Metadata. Pretty much the only thing Explorer is looking at I would guess.

I don't know as much about the PK4 as people that own it. Seems like a nice camera, I just can't seem to get excited about it. But I can see why people are pissed about the Cdng, bRaw thing. Oh I do think this site has influence over the PK4. If we say it is total shit they are not going to do too well with it. We have not said that, it seems with a few warts to be a great camera, and I bet it Has helped sales for them. A lot of traffic on this site, tire kickers and such. But BMD had a terrible Rollout, and that didn't help in the beginning. Turned me off on it I will be honest about it. And now this LCD stuff is even a bigger turnoff. And that is the cheap items they sell lol. Someone could give you the body and you couldn't afford to buy the rest of the parts needed. Arri is even worse if that is possible..

I am talking about how you have to mount the lens on the opposite direction of nearly every, probably every camera on the planet. and the Z mount, yeah they should have done that 25 years ago.

I think what is unfortunate about the film industry is how Few females are involved in it. Most men have this Caveman attitude, it has to be written in stone. Crazy good Mojo. Sony right now has some of the best, most modern lenses out there now, and a lot of them as of late. But they are not giving away the best ones. I guess Panasonic must have a clue of how to make Depth by Defocus work down the road or they would have caved in by now. But it is hurting them no doubt. They may have hitched their wagon to the wrong horse. But all this Patent stuff is getting ridiculous as of late. I would imagine why they have went this route. I think it is hurting Society as a whole, not helping like intended. They need to re work it somehow. The greater good of Mankind has to be above the greater good of a select few. Very, very damn few it seems of late.

For the money Now you can buy one I think they are a good deal. Is it perfect no, it is their first effort. Lacking for helpful items menu wise for video, not a super fan of how they have went CS wise over say the D750, but that can be corrected if you want. AF has been improved, and IF this Raw thing Ever happens that is a big plus. Seems to be split on here those that bought one and loved it, to those that bought one and sold it. It is good in low light, not A7s good, but really pretty good. Pretty much a Sony A7 III sensor I believe with some Nikon tweeks added in. And it looks like a lot of adapters are coming out for it now. So that is a good thing. I believe the older Nikon lenses work really well on it. Good news there. Hey I have been a Nikon owner for more years than most of you have been alive. Have one now. Not a Z6. I will pretend I am waiting for the Sony A7s mk III like a lot of people on here lol. I want to see them make it as well as anyone. I have always loved their body layouts. Not a fan of the ass backwards lens mount but... I guess they had never heard of “righty-tighty and lefty-loosey” thing??

Well maybe even Arri has something to do with it? Red, Arri have been doing Raw for a long time now. To work over HDMI this has too be compressed to hell and back. So it is probably that reason patent wise they may be having trouble. Or maybe they are pulling a bRaw thing and having trouble with BMD patents?? Crazy world lol.

Jesus @Emanuel is one of the biggest owners, boosters on here for the PK4. He probably knows about 50 times more about video than you do. And Hook is on here all the time. You are a silly bastard.

Kind of tough buying a EOS M and thinking, hey I need say 3 more batteries and finding out it cost more than the damn camera did lol. There is just too many knockoffs of knockoffs batteries wise anymore. The swelling battery thing is a REAL problem, even on factory batteries for Smartphones. Lithium Ion battery's are a potential hand grenade.

The Raw thing maybe another Legal thing they can't get around. Seems Red must have patented everything with the name Raw or Compressed in it knowing them?

Ahh even still they will try to sue you. The rules for everything have changed in this day and age. You can't trust anyone anymore. It is all about the money. The whole world has went crazy. I feel sorry for younger people that have missed having trust in everyone. Being able to leave your house unlocked, keys in your car, could pick up hitchhikers, a handshake was as good as a contract, on and on. I am sure some places in the world you can still do that, but it is fast disappearing.

Yeah but the first time someone "Bricks" their camera and sues the heck out of them for doing it, or it does overheat after 6 hours continues recording of a festival and shuts down, well I can see why they don't do it. Suicide on their part.

I really Never use aftermarket batteries. I have learned the hard way. There is a reason good batteries, even for your Flashlight, or Torch as they say cost more. I use both Native and Vintage.

I don't know squat about LED TVs, but you really don't want a LCD one if you can help it. Look at used IPS ones maybe. But with 4K if that is what you want probably not many out there.

Battery life with the EOS M is F ing terrible using ML. And extra Canon batteries for them are a fortune. About as bad as a OG BMPCC. I know nothing about the 70D. Seems if a person had the money nice way to go. And they have a viewfinder.
