I don't think DSLR's are dead for fast moving stuff like Birding, Sports. A Nikon D500 is up there for the money on both. Poor Mans D5. And the extra reach is nice.

Kisaha is right, you can not do 4K on a 27" monitor. It is Crazy small. It won't scale worth using. Like he said, 2K max. You would have to be 12 years old to read 4K on it.

Mine locked up when we were doing multitasking and some goofy looking little widow appeared. Would not reset, couldn't shut it down, and well.. you can't pull the battery so we had to leave it running all night to run the battery down. Turned it back on in the morning, seems perfectly fine now?? Interesting to say the least. But I am running the Beta OS version. A bug for sure.

Yeah but even if you want to watch 4K stuff on YouTube you have to have a Decent GPU. So it is not like it is a waste of time and money. Editing, watching high end video is not for the less fortunate as they say. You want to go you have to pay. And it is only going to get worse going forward.

For the lake scenes I picked the one to me that looked on the brown side when the water wave hit the shore. That to me is a more realistic coloring than guessing what the Canoe color is. Doesn't mean it is right though lol.

I would agree. But they are mainly to be used with the touchscreen or the Apple Pen. So the keyboard and mouse is really no needed often. Sure it is just a start on them, but I can see them nearly taking over MBP sales for most peoples needs down the road.

The older ones a a lot slower than the new ones. The 10.5" one is down there with a iPhone 7. We have a case for the 11" with a Bluetooth keyboard and it is not too bad. My Apple keyboard went belly up so haven't replaced that yet to try. We haven't spent to much time utilizing the new features. Yeah in this day and age Resolve Has to be the way to go. Free version is no slouch, and it will get even better than it is down the road.
