He who is without sin as they say. That mess happened all around the world. Portugal was in big trouble all the way back in 2001. It was a Global Crisis. Plenty blame to go around. It's always all about the money, or the lack of there in. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010–14_Portuguese_financial_crisis

Really pretty damn good. I like it a lot. Good song also.

Yeah but did you watch the whole video? The trouble is it is not a FF MF camera. So the high end shooters are going to go with the Phase One, Hasselblad route. Sure a few of them might buy the body, but that is a very few in this day and age. And it is just too expensive, add lenses, and it is out of the budget of too many people. There is just not going to be a big enough market to support it. Sure it will sell at first, it's a new entry, but down the road I don't think so. I would love to have one, but I also would love to have the 25,000 Dollars with lenses to get into it more than the camera kit. Mirrorless in that video according to him only represents a little more than 1% of all the cameras in the world. It sounds like the future, but it is damn small future for Camera Companies to put tons of money into now. And they don't have much money is the problem. Nikon particularity. If you buy Z mount lenses they don't work on your Nikon DSLR, same problem with the Canon R lenses. That is a big concern right now if you have their DSLR's. These all new systems take one hell of a commitment to leap into them. If it goes to crap you are out of luck big time. You can't even use the lenses on anything else. And you know and I know not all these companies and all these mounts are going to make it. Canon and Panasonic both have way too many mounts going forward.

Well a person could just pick and choose all feel good stories and that is OK. Nothing wrong with that. But that doesn't reflect real life, at least not as a TV stations looks at it. I guess you could just follow what you are into to and be happy. Might not kick your dog or beat your wife, or the opposite when you get home lol.
-
I don't envy you. Part of the reason, low pay the other, that i gave up doing that stuff. It can just ruin your whole day, even taking it home with you. And that is not fair to them.

I can't tell you how many times I felt in danger. These people take what they believe in a Really serious way. As you say most of it is good news stories helping society in a good way, but Oh Boy the ones that aren't, Jesus grab your ass. You have to get tough at times. That is why 60 Minutes has been around for hell, forever. They ask the tough questions and go about it like a Pit Bull. I don't think I could do that all the time. Scary stuff. If you can't get in an argument with your nose 4 inches from the next person, standing toe to toe, pointing your finger at them, Like I said, find another career. And I was Just the cameraman! My reporters, women included, were tough as nails. There is a reason they make top end Microphones built like a tank. Have one of those shoved up your nose lol.

Wow that is Really interesting.

sparkies are one of the hardest trade skills to get into. I was lucky when I was very young I was a Ham Radio operator just like my father. That opened up a lot of opportunities when I was a lot older. Top pay for a reason, it is dangerous as heck, especially if you are not really good at it, or get lazy. No real room for errors.

That be true.

Because if you are good, you ask tough questions, not just go there to kiss their ass. Remember it is an "interview", not a love fest. And it gets ugly at times, not always but.. If you don't ask questions why even do it. That means you are agreeing hook, line, and sinker with them as they say. Waste of your time and the viewers time. We are talking activists, not your mother. And if this is out on the street there is a group across the street that wants to kick your ass and theirs. Been there as they say. You Have to be Ballsy as hell to do this stuff. This is not for the meek. Why do you think I am such a horses ass lol. I am, "one of us is going to die, and it ain't me" types ?. They trained me well.
-
I can tell you from my ENG days you better have a Thick Hide and be able to hold your tongue. That kind of stuff can get heated as hell. The people you are going to interview are a bit over the edge, and they are balls to the wall, gung-ho into it. It can get ugly. If you are a small person you might look for other work lol. ?

Supposedly the the Micro Studio is the same sensor as the larger BM Studio 4K live production camera without 60p.

This is the guys website. https://lavky.com/radioproektor/

Well if you had spent the money to do this shit years ago you might have a different attitude. But it is changing, look at me. This stuff is free compared to when I was young. ?
-
You get what you pay for. End of story.
-
That is the problem with the Micro to me over the BMPCC, you might as well have a Canon C300. I, at my age, can't hardly shoot with a Smartphone, let alone a Camera Rig. The world has changed big time. Nobody trusts anyone anymore. When i was young Everyone trusted everyone. Complete opposite then. You young people are screwed big time.

You just look more stupid every time something comes out of your mouth. You don't know your ass from a hole in the ground about this stuff.

Wow, impressive. Great colors.

Yeah I just bought a new 50" Samsung 4K HDR TV and there is a big difference games wise from 1080p and 4K. And one of the tricks my son turned me onto is if you use 59hz instead of 60 games sync better motion wise. There have been lots of discussion for and against. But I can see a real gain using 59 instead of 60 on this new TV. I guess it depends on the content and the quality of the TV. I bought it new at Best Buy and they said it was the best mid range 4k HDR you can buy. The next jump up was nearly twice the price for actually not a lot of gain. The biggest advantage is 120fps on them which would be nice but. Now OLED TVs, well out of my range. But they are damn impressive.

I would think you could put a Speedbooster on say a A7r mk III in s35 mode and be close to the size of the Fuji Sensor. It really is not that big of a sensor size wise for MF. Unless you need the form factor I see no reason to buy it other than the IBIS, which is nice. I would rather have a used Hassy to be honest, and the Phase One body is a thing of beauty.
-
It looks like to me a XT-3 with greater DOF. I don't see any early output that just takes my breath away on the video side. It is pretty impressive for MF no doubt. But is it worth 8500 Dollars more to get that?
-
He really, really likes it.
-
Might be one of your best. Great stuff.

You have no more a clue what is going to happen than me. So we will see what comes out of it. We will both probably be wrong. And the PK4 is just about as capable of shooting anything you can throw at it. Cine cameras are just a sensor in a box. They have no bells and whistles to talk about. Only the skill it takes to use them. Nobody shooting a BMW commercial is going to use AF. And they can afford V Mount batteries. So it is an even playing field. Hell there is no reason you can't use a Z6 to do it. It can get the job done with skill. Might be harder but. Nobody is going to laugh anyone off any set in this day and age. Output is what counts now. It's a whole new world now from when I was in the industry. Money is not the only factor now.
