  1. Hell I have had several company's. I worked 15 to 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Being at the top you deserve a hell of a lot more money. Cleaning toilets and running the whole damn company is a hell of a lot different trust me. They don't pay you a lot of money to sit there and play with your balls on the shitter. And sure, people with no money are going to shop at cheap ass places. You think they are all running down to Macy's to buy $250.00 a piece shirts and pants?
  2. Paying more is a hell of a lot better than having no job to pay for Anything, and your country going belly up. That is the main concern here. This stuff is out of hand now, what the hell you think it will be in 10 years from now.
  3. I don't think you have a clue how Patents work.
  4. It is because Panasonic can sell more L lenses, why would they just keep the EVA1 as a EF mount when they now have their own lenses to sell.
  5. I think the whole world needs to wake up and understand depending pretty much on China to make their stuff is a huge mistake. I am not talking as a personal insult to China. I respect what they have done. But the whole damn world is putting their eggs in one basket here. Nations are loosing their national identity, people out of work. This is leading to a F ing total disaster. You can't have one country making everything and the rest just going belly up, and not abide by the rules. That is the trouble with this crap. Trump is just a small ass piece of all of this. Britain is just about to be a nobody country soon. Other European countries are nearly in a worse shape. This is all some serious shit. South America is going to shit also. It Ain't going to get better keeping it the way it is. This has no good end without some big ass change. A hell of a lot of countries are to blame for letting this crap happen.
  6. Yes he did use dramatic weathers conditions to his advantage, where as most people would pack it up and go home lol. Impressive use of what was available.
  7. Yeah but when you have shit like this from China, the hell with them. A 40% Tariff on American cars imported to China, Get real. Is the United States just suppose to sit here and do nothing? There is 2 sides to every story. China is trying to make it so Nobody can Import anything to them, and expect everyone to buy their shit. Plenty of room and people in this country to build anything we need, just like we did 50 years ago. Let them eat cake. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-tesla-china/tesla-begins-sales-of-cheaper-model-3-car-variant-in-china-idUSKCN1PQ40F
  8. I predicted 850 Dollars a long time ago on here without the Dongle. I bet it will hit that mark soon. Hell on paper it was in reality "only" a 995 Dollar camera new figuring you got Resolve Studio with it that cost 299 Dollars. So in reality you are loosing 150 bucks on the camera. Big deal. The good news is that will drive the price down for the older ones.
  9. I do also for certain things. But Very few C300's have DPAF in them, and unless you go to the C200 viewfinder they are about 2 foot tall. A C100 mkII is petite to a C300. But I like the older output CS wise, but it was not really accurate. Oh you are comparing the C300 to the C300 mkII. I have no real knowledge about the mkII.
  10. I just can't think if it is a true Cine Camera where it can fit in and not kill some other video centric camera Panasonic has?? Not unless it is a new L mount EVA1 mk II.
  11. Very well stated. I think we just have to admit that the original and the PK4 are 2 different cameras output wise, both in a good way, and that neither one is going to look like the other one no matter what we do. And that is a good thing. We all have a choice. And the older ones are not that much money so, if you are lucky, you can have both. To me All the BMD cameras are a gift from heaven for what they cost. So we ought to be happy which ever route we go. But yeah, dropping cDNG option on the new ones is a bummer.
  12. Yeah good take away from it. I think not only his photo skills stand out but his Photoshop, or what ever he uses. Sounds like he uses the Nikon D4s, which is really not that high of MP. Which proves you don't have to have 47mp or photo stitching, or stacking to get a pretty dramatic look if you know your stuff. It is all about skill, and that takes practice and dedication, and as they say, a good eye.
  13. Skip more toward the last 1/3 of the video for most of the comparisons. He just mostly states the advantages and weakness of all the cameras. But that is to me a good thing. He is not doing a I got 6 cameras and this is the result thing. It is all verbal. So it might not be too ideal for you.
  14. I know this is more of a, we like GH5 video, which is good, and you may not like his presentation, I do, but it is an excellent breakdown of the strengths and weakness of all the manufacturers out there that interest us for video, and photo. It is long as hell, but well worth the view when you have the time to see all of it..
  15. Yeah that is seriously cheap. I would have done the same.
  16. Yeah the FS5 has gotten seriously cheap as of late.
  17. Pretty amazing stuff, but at the end of the video I think his thoughts apply to not only Photography, but also Video. 95% of the thing is thinking ahead, not just pushing the button and hoping. And yeah, for @Skip77 it was shot on a Nikon lol. ?
  18. Yeah it was along those lines, but that one was a Lot more expensive than this one. Looks good for the money.
  19. Wow, that is a leap up. Hmm.
  20. Really like it, but not too big of a fan of you cutting her head off all the time lol.
  21. Are there any trees you can hook on? Can't remember the name, but there is a cable thingy you can run and the camera slides on it. Not that expensive or hard to set up, and works great on uneven terrain. You could build one yourself I would think. Like this one. https://cinemotiongear.com/blogs/news/videos-of-the-cord-slider-mini
  22. I think the BMPCC is second to the BMCC.
  23. A C300 would be a step back form a C100 mkII I would think? And a C300 is like 2000 bucks and a C300 mkII is like 7500. Sure it is way better but that is a serious jump price wise, and I not too sure I would even buy a C300 mk II over some of the others choices unless you have a Ton of EF lenses.
  24. The PK4 to me was the worse. Not even close. But we all have different ideas what is good or not, and not the same monitors looking at the footage, which by the way I just re-calibrated mine 3 days ago.
  25. The Sony a7 II is nearly outselling the Z6, the mk II not the III. Yeah sure Nikon is really killing it aren't they. Read and weep. https://www.diyphotography.net/the-sony-a7iii-is-outselling-its-four-closest-mirrorless-competitors-combined-in-japan/
