When Will Camera Companies Make HDR Video Like This?
webrunner5 replied to Snowbro's topic in Cameras
Yeah Samsung has Always had nice displays on their phones. Main reason I had so many of their Note Smartphones. But the DR edge now that the XS, XS Max has, and it seems Filmic Pro is really into Apple more than Samsung is the main reason I made the change. All these new high end phones are pretty amazing. The Sony Sony Xperia xz3 may be the real sleeper though for CS. -
When Will Camera Companies Make HDR Video Like This?

The missing link in the article if you want to read an article that would takes 2 hours to do. ? http://www.displaymate.com/Galaxy_S10_ShootOut_1S.htm -
But I have never used 2 monitors at the same time in Resolve so who knows.
-
Well if your video card has 2 inputs it can support 2 monitors at the same time. You don't Need 2 video cards to do that. Not all video cards can do that though.
-
For what BMD program, Resolve? Resolve doesn't give a rats ass what monitor you are using. If you have the BMD SDI one I can see that but, just a HDMI one, nah. Now they make a HDMI one with breakout cables, but that is still more an audio thing than video.
-
Man those things have been around for 10 years or more. Why do you even need it in this day and age? Those things were invented for the music industry for synthesizers and software mixers. I had some of them F ing years ago. Just hook the damn thing into your video card. Or is your video card 10 years or older?
-
Maybe it is something with HDMI not the latest version? Just best to use the DisplayPort which the Decklink Doesn't have.. "You can connect the monitors to a PC or Mac via one of the HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 or mini DisplayPort 1.2 ports. However, be aware that HDMI 1.4 does not support 3840x2160 at 60 Hz, which is required for the 32” monitor." From this article. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/benq-pv3200pt-32-inch-uhd-pro-monitor,4605-3.html And why do you even Need the BMD Decklink when every decent video card or laptop has a DisplyPort or Mini DP in them?? HDMI stuff is total shit for data transfer rates!

It might be like my HP monitor. If you use HDMI it is only HD. I Have to use the DisplayPort to get 2K out of mine. Mine is a 2K monitor tops.

Two EOS R's at a top ranked college basketball game
webrunner5 replied to Snowbro's topic in Cameras
Well I sort of gave it up living in Ohio. Not many large birds, and not really too many larger animals other than Deer. But since I am moving back to Florida there is a Ton of neat Birds and Animals to shoot down there. I have several feeders up now and I get a ton of small birds, but nothing too spectacular to really shoot. -

Be nice, I just bought a Sigma 170-500mm and a Tokina AT 80-400mm used for my Nikon DX2s. Surprisingly you can buy a Used 300mm 2.8 for the same money the Sigma cost used now. Just not as much demand I guess for them. Yep, I am getting back into birding. -
Wow that is totally awesome! Best work I have seen you do. That is what I like. Well done.

Advice on eBay anamorphic lens listing (No advertising)
webrunner5 replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Looks like a legit seller with a legit price for the lens. If you want to go you have to pay. Can't get into Anamorphic much cheaper. -

"What stills resolution is the camera capable of? A Full resolution is 4096 x 2160 = 8.8 megapixels." From the BMD site.

I would assume you are a Treky then? ?

They look more filmic than the video does. Interesting.

Yeah with a great subject and a nice slow film, and darkroom skill you can do wonders in B&W. Just a screen grab so not so hot quality wise. I would Love to see the original print.
