Z Cam E2 will have ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FPS in 4K??
webrunner5 replied to IronFilm's topic in Cameras
Well I just think the PK4 looks like a Panasonic output wise. So why buy one when you can get a camera that is better laid out. I have nothing against most BMD cameras, I just would not buy the PK4 simple as that. You have your opinion, I have mine. You want one, have right at it. I just think BMD lost their way CS wise with it. Is it a great buy if you like the output, well sure, that is if you can ever get one.. Probably going to go down as the worse camera roll out ever. Why reward someone for that. -
Clearing up the utter bull**** in this Tony Northup Panasonic S1 video
webrunner5 replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
He has a point, only Canon could probably do it that cheap. -
I always thought you had to have the Convergent Design 7q+ to take advantage of all the FS700 could output? And cheapest used one I have seen is 1100 dollars, and that is with either no SSD's, or small capacity ones. Main reason I have never bought one.

Well now he is talking about a Canon 500 Dollar FF camera. Makes some good points but man that seems like a real long shot from Canon or any other company. -

I don't know why but the E2 seems to have a nicer output than the PK4, at least to my eyes. I wish it was a bit cheaper, I would buy one. -

When Will Camera Companies Make HDR Video Like This?

I can't say I have the Yellow problem on my phone. Is it perfect, I don't know. Output looks good to me so that is pretty much all I need. It definitely needs to the Saturation turned down, but I can do that when I shoot in Filmic Pro. I don't use Auto Brightness ever. -

Samsung Phones I had were always Way over saturated. Way more than Apple does, and that is saying something. -

The iPhones since the 6s Plus have had real Optical Image Stabilization in them. So I guess they just don't weigh enough to hold them well enough. -

It is better on the XS than the X I had but still not good enough. I have a Glidecam Volt I use. I suck at using it though LoL. Need to practice more for sure. -
If it can fit in a inside suit pocket they might have a winner at that price. It can have it's usage for presentations for sure.

I haven't really paid much attention to the s10. I might want to buy it LoL. So not really looked at what it can do. I am sure it is great. I have has a bunch of Samsung Note models. I have had 3 different Apple watches, have the series 4 now, so I have to sort of stay with Apple phones to use them. And I use Facetime for my grand kids. And there is a lot more Photo, Video apps for my iPad. So you sort of get stuck in a system. I got pissed off with Last couple of Note phones I had. The swollen battery thing. That was a horror show. Took months to resolve both models of them. First they want to send you a new battery, then after that goes to shit they cave and send you a new phone, and Maybe a new battery for it. And then on the Note 7 they stopped even making the damn thing. Had to wait for the Note 8. F that! And they never even sent a sorry letter, or any money, or discount on shit. I was done with Samsung after that. Happy as hell with the Note 2, and Note 4, but.. -

Not that I have found. It is an Auto thing and I have no clue why and when it sees fit to do it? But to be able to do it on the fly must take some amazing processing to do it up to 4K 30p. It not only has to do it, it has to decide when to do it. Amazing stuff available out now. My XS is night and day better photo and video wise, and even stabilization is better than my X was. And every app runs faster. It is like it is in Warp Drive LoL. This was taken with my XS. I think that is some pretty serious DR and detail for a Phone. -

Dolby Vision HDR already does the Dynamic metadata Which the Apple screen does.. It is just a ploy by Samsung, Phillips to try to get it as a standard. And it is offering less bits. Now which one wins out who Knows. -

I think it does have the screen because I have been able to see HDR stuff since my iPhone X. I don't know what HDR10+ is? Well I found out what it is, it is a half assed attempt by Samsung to come out with a lesser 10 bit instead of 12 bit standard. Samsung is trying to pull a Sony LoL. And no I don't really want their screen. From Wired Magazine. "Both phones support Apple's True Tone display, and support Dolby Vision and HDR10. Their displays aren't just Retina displays; they're super Retina, Apple says—the same screens found on last year's iPhone X." -

Best I have seen is it May Have it. Well there is Zero videos out, so the quality of it is still to be seen. I am sure it will be good, but it is going to have to be unbelievable to beat the new iPhones. Although I am not too sure the iPhones shoot in 10bit?? -

Well as far as I can tell the iPhone XS, which I have, actually does frame combining where as the Galaxy S10 Only has a new screen that shows HDR10, which the iPhone X that I traded in already had that screen. The only downfall I have seen is the lens I guess is causing it has a nasty flare at times. The output, although over sharpened OOC, is pretty crazy impressive. And with the new Filmic Pro V2 app it is beyond amazing for a phone. And figuring you can buy an Anamorphic lens for a Smartphone for 150 bucks or less, which I have, is even more crazy. I have shown this shot before but this was just a jump out of the car shoot and jump back in shot. I think pretty amazing detail for a phone. It was shot in HDR. I will look for the video I shot in frame combining. This shot of the cabin, courthouse is a screen grab from the video I took in HDR video. Having trouble uploading the whole video. There is a problem with the frame rate being Jerky?? The DR and sharpness you can get in this mode is pretty unbelievable I think. If you look at the left at the detail in the road signs it is crazy sharp. And this is just in the in camera app, not using Filmic Pro. -
