Well the original A6300 ISO topped out at 51,200. The A6400 is 102,400. So they have done something different.

Touchscreen is Huge for a Sony, and the flippy screen I guess. It is nearly as good as a a7s for low light. So I think for the money it is pretty good.

Ahh I like the B&W. Hardly anyone, me included shoots it much anymore. Looks good, even grain wise for the situation. Actually I sort of like grain using B&W.

You know now if you are lucky you can find a used Canon M50 for 500 bucks or a bit more. I know they don't have all the video bells and whistles a Panasonic has, but they are an interesting camera for the money.They sure do have the Canon CS and DPAF in 1080p. And I bet down the road they will have ML out for it. No IBIS though.

Ah that looks pretty good. From a few quick reads on the web it looks for best results DON'T overexpose using V Log on the GH5. Try to get it right to start with. Now some cameras that have a pretty crazy log like say SLog 3 on a Sony you have to overexposure 2 to even 3 stops to get it right.

You are doing something wrong then. Unless you are shooting at 10,000 ISO they should be reasonably clean. Especially a GH5. What ISO was the window with a Jacket or what ever it is hanging there shot at??

Yes, other than being a bit too noisy. I am not too sure how you are suppose to expose with V Log on a GH5, ETTR? So I won't suggest what you are suppose to do LoL. I am old school, I use a light meter a lot, grey and white cards..

True the sensor is not glass but there are glass layers stacked on top of the sensor. You would never be able to clean it if it didn't. And some have a Low-pass filter / Anti-aliasing filter
, and a Infrared filter, (hot mirror) also. The thickness varies by manufacturers. So they are really not as fragile as you would think.

Steve Huff doesn't really like Anything unless it says Leica on it. And even Leica has had it's fair share of turds. Most negative guy on the web. I gave up watching him for over 3 minutes at a time. Yeah but what John Brawley does is because they can't archive all that stuff in 4k. They generate too much footage an episode. You don't shoot enough to worry about that problem. Jesus it's 2019. Well people seem to be able to shoot in Antarctica so I doubt it would hurt it. I would not make a habit of wiping the sensor off at all, or even the lens often. Just let them acclimate to the new environment.
