Yeah and I F ing hate Slo Mo Stuff. It is so stupid how often it is used. And what is crazy the footage still looks like shit in slo mo. I can't imagine how it would look in a normal speed all jerky, shaky wise. This Run n Gun crap is just that, crap footage. Buy a damn tripod. Sure for vacations and home use yeah, but for something half serious, no way.

Buy a C100 if you want good down scaled 1080 from 4K. It does it automatically. Probably a reason you can buy it that cheap. Nobody wants one! ?

Once you get used to a EVF it is very hard to go back. Zebras, focus peaking is a real advantage having that in the viewfinder. Especially when you get older and can't see the rear LCD up close or far away. ?

Buy a G7, better camera and it has 4K. Probably same money. You can find them for less than 400 bucks. I Never liked my GH3. Liked the G7. I would rather have a hacked GH2 than a GH3 anyday.

Yes very hard to tell apart. No real surprise figuring they are using the same sensor. Too bad Panasonic priced the GH5s so high. Pretty amazing camera really that few have.

That is a really good price for it. Pretty hard to turn down a Cine body style unless you need stealth.

Yeah without the servo on it I doubt it weighs that much really. Now putting it on a Canon M might become a problem. Most ENG lenses even with the servo really aren't that heavy for what they are. But I never owned one of the ones for s35. I am sure they weigh more.

I think it depends if you are making a living doing it. That is Always stressful! And yes it looks like the Nikon can record both at the same time. But maybe only in 8bit?? That would kind of suck. Some cameras you can't record both at once. Internal or external only. But yeah the big ones could do that. I would imagine shooting a movie on film was pretty damn stressful back in the day. One shot and hope..

Oh I am not suggesting it was exposed wrong. Most cameras work on Contrast detection for AF and there is very little in a normal Log. Contrast and Saturation is 2 things you have to add in post.

That pretty much sucks ass. Maybe there is just not enough Contrast in N Log for it to pick up shapes? Can you try it in better light conditions?? Only real way to prove the Contrast thing. I wonder if the sensor is really seeing that look in the Raw data or is N Log way down the pipeline?

Your getting up there in age to maybe take advantage of one of these. Plenty of room for your gear in that bag. I love mine. I love how the wheels look like Canon L lenses.?
