Good points. Maybe I was too ambitious hoping for more than incremental improvements - are a6700s and the newer Sony bodies just as “jacketable”? I still prefer my Ricoh gr3x to the x100v/vi setup but was hoping for better AF and video features.

Thanks for making the connection. Pretty cool! She’s great. I got emotional at Little Garlic shot on iPhone - so well done! If I’m being for weddings etc I probably wouldn’t default to the iPhone. But as a non paid enthusiast it’s quite the tool. It’s probably going to be my next platform. I’d love the a6700 form factor but even when I had the xt4 the size of the footprint between lense and body wasn’t convenient for casual use with friends family or travel. It would take too much to be in the moment. I still have the Ricoh Giiix and will compare it to the iPhone 15 when I grab one. Just waiting on an ND solution so I can use a quality VND.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for phone accessories that allow you to attach an ND filter/Mist filter in thread sizes that avoid vignetting and allow for non-phone brand filters like NISI or Urth rather than just sandmarc? YT is rife with ads touted as regular videos.

Has anyone invested time into thinking about this? The iPhone 15 with log may be the win for ultimate travel ease but curious about the quality bump and portability of these two bad boys. The smaller the footprint the less barrier to entry and more desirability to create

Pretty cool! Does GoPro have log? The Apple log images look far superior and more pleasing to my brain than any GoPro footage I’ve seen. And it does feel like I’m watching a mirrorless camera in good enough lighting sans the DOF and ISO performance.

I enjoyed this showcasing that the iPhone 15 pro can be your phone and an excellent travel camera. BM app has now updated to include internal and baked in LUT which is also enhancing this as a solution for many.
