Internal F-LOG is a big winner for me personally. Would've been nice to have Eterna internal as well but as Fuji have released the F-LOG > Eterna LUT for it in their last update its not a major issue. So if we couldn't have both, I'm glad they chose the internal F-LOG !

I don't think they are mutually exclusive either. Its more the GH5s that has the problem as far as I can see. Prices of a used GH5 are currently dipping below £1.2k and will be further deflated by the time the Pocket 4K actually arrives to be more or less a flat £1k. If you add in the value of the full version of Resolve then that means you could have a GH5 AND the Pocket 4K with Resolve for pretty much the same price as the GH5s and Resolve. In that scenario, where I could have the best of both worlds in terms of a highly featured and capable all rounder AND a cinema oriented one for the same total price (especially as they share a common lens system) then I'd really struggle to choose the GH5s over that.

Thursday is D-Day for Operation Cheap Screen so I'll let you know. If it doesn't explode as soon as I plug it in.

If you are dead set on ditching the GH5, I'd cash it out as soon as you can and get a cheap 2nd hand G7 and review again when the Pocket comes out. The G7 will tide you over nicely and keep you in MFT so you can keep your glass as a hedge for if you go for the Pocket. If you decide against the pocket you won't have lost hardly anything re-selling the G7. Especially if you buy it in the UK and sell it in Alicante ! Spoilsport

I'm not one for hyperbole as a rule but this camera has just completely and utterly re-defined the market. The value of my camera collection has just sprung a major leak !

Mmmm..... I've just tested it on 2 different phones and a tablet with GX80, LX15, G7 and FZ2000 all without any issues. Its really odd that its not setting the shutter for you. Basically, if that part of it has an issue then the brackets won't work as it hasn't got a starting point. OK, try it with your other phone tomorrow and let me know.

When you are selecting it in there, does it highlight in orange before it comes back to the main screen?

Don't use the Bracket function of the Stepper app as there is a bug with it, hence why I made the dedicated one. So only use the dedicated one. When you are using the dedicated one, make sure you select a shutter speed first by pressing the Shutter button This will open a list and you select your base shutter speed from there. It will then return you to the main screen and you should see the selected shutter speed.

They should definitely have called it The Pocketti ! It sounds like some sort masterpiece of industrial design sculpted by Pininfarina for the gentleman filmmaker of the late 60s.

Yeah, would've thought the DC in and the TC input would make a new one very relevant for where they want to pitch the GH5s. Maybe Top Gear didn't ask for it

The YAGH Interface box gave SDI output, amongst other things, to the GH4. Quite surprised they haven't produced an updated one for the GH5s at least (to further differentiate from the GH5). Or maybe thats something they have up their sleeve.
