Agreed, even if it was slightly more expensive. I think it'll use the new Prores RAW. I wonder what the sensor will be, it'll be disappointing if its the old 4k one in the BMCC4K. If it has decent ergonomics and battery life it'll defo replace my GH5.

Saw this picture on BMCUser... can't confirm weather it is real or not. I wonder what price point it'll come in at?

I would also lean toward a BMCC or a BMMCC before the BMPC4K. Saying that I haven't used either. I went the GH5 route anyway.

I would prefer a 5'' over a 7 inch for anything even remotely run & gun

Canon Full Frame Mirrorless is just around the corner?
JordanWright replied to IronFilm's topic in Cameras
I don't believe this because I can't see canon putting clog 2&3 in a 8bit camera. I might be wrong but im sure clog 2&3 were built for 10bit+ -
ive seen some incredible deals in the UK on BM 2.5k and BMMCC/PC, usually including media and battery solutions

Could it be powered from a Small HD Focus using the canon bundle? This would allow the cam and monitor to be powered from a single decent battery. One of the things that kept me away from the BMMCC is that I don't want to have to wander in to the menus to change WB, ISO and frame rates.

Yeah never heard of any of the ones you suggested. I recently picked up the Tiffen and its great. Only downside is that it doesn't have hard stops -

You could always cine-mod a set of Leica R,Contax Zeiss or Nikkor AIS lenses -
Does anybody know a fix?

Got the footage back from the 2nd day of the shoot! I shot using an FS7 and Zeiss CP.2s. Used a LUT, light grade & film grain

A few grabs of a music video I shot using an FS7 and Zeiss CP.2s. This is from the first shooting day. More to follow when I get the footage back from the 2nd Day. I applied a LUT and a light grade then added a bit of film grain.

Filmmaker Bundle (Camera, ND Filter, Monitor) for 300€ used
JordanWright replied to Vautksch's topic in Cameras
If the GH2 monitor isn't that bad (I haven't used it) I would skip an external monitor and put that money into the vari ND instead. -
I wouldn't recommend the Rokinon lenses, very bulky and I (subjectively) didn't like the image I was getting, however you might like the look of them!

Everything feels light after using the sigma 50-100 anyway lol Yeah I’ve heard good things about the Oly zooms

I was mainly referring to the 12-60 and the 8-18 but I still wouldn’t mind sacrificing size and weight for a 2.8 constant
