  1. These assholes should be boycotted altogether, so sorry to hear this. Just one thing Andrew, why not using your own website or facebook to sell your stuff? I mean, with all your followers it would have been more safe less expensive and I am sure more fun. Good luck for the rest of your stuff!
  2. 5D3 / Helios 13 blades / Ikon 22/1.5x
  3. Thanks Seb, I always used a FF sensor also on baby hypergonar and agfa moller 19/1.5X , the stills attached are from the baby hypergonar with helios on 5D3. it's an internal clamp system made for me by a smart french guy Guillaume!
  4. just a simple answer to your question, that's all, no need to get upset about it. There isn't a cheap alternative 2x scope that goes wide as those you mentioned. If you then are looking for a 2x scope same size of those you mentioned it's another story. Your personal troll
  5. and this was produced mid 50's for 8mm film!! No computers! No automated lathes! Pure Maths and Master craftsmanship! Big LOL at more recent so called anamorphic bogies!
  6. please dial the other end on the aperture. and come back with the results.
  7. that explains everything, now is all clear! Thanks
  8. yeah sorry, I was a bit confused about the whole story and I wanted to be sure I understood well, thanks
  9. thanks for taking the time, what camera taking lens and at what aperture did you shoot the test?
  10. Does it go from minimum to infinity? Thanks!
  11. which single focus adapter allows you to get close to 16 inches.? so If I am understanding it right now the telecine moller version goes from 16 inches to infinity? Thanks are you talking about the telecine version? Thanks
  12. Sirui has not anamorphic characteristics at all so you can zoom in and out as you wish , you won't notice any loss. 😉
  13. Obviously I was just joking with my statement because I think that each of these little beauties has its own character and that it is up to those who use them to enhance their characteristics and make good use of them artistically in what they want to represent.
  14. the rare anamorphot 22/1.5x Zeiss ikon beats both of them, sorry! 😉
  15. Hey, feel free to join the Anamorphic gossip and share some myths https://www.facebook.com/groups/587919195445228/ Thanks!
  16. Hello Vladimir, so glad you made one 1.6X scope, looks good man!
  17. Cinemoller 1.6X with 50mm f1.4 FVD on 5d3
  18. To be honest what Dan Sasaki from Panavision says is much more valuable to me than what you wrote. You can read my private conversation i had with him. These are only DIY prototypes and there is no hacksaw involved, even a child would know that these would of course benefit from a new housing , but since I am not selling it or launching anything on the market I am not worried. But most of all please do not worry at all about my children, I am the father. How dare you!
  19. let off steam, remember to clean up when you're done.
  20. yeah cool idea, I did cut the HI FI 2 and the 35Nap to 70mm diameter to fit inside the FVD, then used both front glass and mixed with other rear glass. Among the pictures I posted above you can see the 1.75X still which is a mix of the 35Nap and Moller 46 rear and the HI fi 2 front mixed with the rectimascop 48, fixed at infinity with the single focus ability. Quick focus video test of the Hi FI 2 front with the rectimascop 48.
