FS5 is a good bit taller than the a7 bodies and the EVF doesn't sit right on top of the sensor. So once again there isn't enough space with these current bodies..

We are not going to see any form of the ND there isn't enough space. Unless the ND filter is fixed in place in front of the sensor.

1 important thing to think about is when it comes time to sell a camera, who's gonna want to buy a 4k only camera in 2023 when you can have a similar 6k body for the same or less. I'm so stoked for 4K/6K/8K HDR to become the norm and for rec 709 1080/4k to die off

no, I have an FS5 fam. With the FS5 the ND filter drops straight down vertically from the top and its a single stage filter. With the darkness being electronically controlled instead of the traditional 3 glass filters on a rotary wheel. An A7 body isn't tall enough to do this...
