I think I might go back to Film Convert Pro, I had it on Premiere Pro and it was pretty good. The official Slog 2 conversion luts from Sony are absolute booty trash I really don't like the color EOSHD gives off.. Prob use this for my Slog stuff and HLG 2 for quick turnaround.

A canon body with specs is definitely possible. It will just cost an arm and a leg. 1DXmkii isn't even FF 4K and its still $5500

You are correct, I believe anyone that was truly considering switching brands has already done so at this point, and the rest really are in it for the long haul with their respective brands.

Yes this is a photo camera and not a video oriented camera clearly. With 60mp + A9 ai enhanced auto focus, nearly 6K evf resolution, 10 fps, and 15 stops of dynamic range. Without a doubt this is the best camera on the market for stills photography all around. I don't think the Nikon Z9 will have nearly as good autofocus, and even if canon were to pull something off with specs like this it would be over $10,000 cause "Canon Tax".

This announcement annoyed me, but I still want to wait for a Z150 successor and unicorn a7siii before I switch over to Panasonic.

180 fps continuous like the fs7 and 240fps cache recording like the fs5 would be really cool.

Well the Venice is fine cause it has swappable components and sensors. F55 and F5 are a different story and both are honestly due for an update.

its definitively because of the F55/F5/FS7 cameras that are keeping cheaper cameras like the FS5/A7s line from being truly great. I and I guess just about everyone else isn't asking for 16bit RAW via the Sony XOCN Codec (Venice/F65/F55) to be placed in an A7s body. Hell with what I do (sports/direct to social media content) I don't even need the 12 bit raw like what blackmagic offers. in 2019 asking for 10 bit 4.2.0 HEVC or 10 bit 422 H264 isn't asking for much imo XDCAM/Cinealta Managers need to relax. If you looking into buying an F55 then there's a really strong chance your not even considering an FS5/A7sii.

True, im a total Sony Fanboi but I have a feeling the A7siii is gonna be a let down, just like the FS5mkii.

yup FS7 aint industry standard for nothing, @Django yeah I would try it out the Venice lut, I found it to be pretty good with the a7iii/FS5 should be even better on the fs7 since the 4K is 10 bit and Slog 3 is easier to grade. I pulled the trigger on an FS5 that one of my clients was selling not to long ago. He and I are friends so he gave me the family discount so I got it for $2,000. I would wait to see what the a7siii has in store as the fs5 is getting a bit long in the tooth vs the FS7.
