same situation for me, recently moved over to Resolve Studio after 5 painful years of buggy/crashing premiere pro.

Deity Connect isn't out yet and the Receiver looks huge (DUO RX) I was saying its easy for the aerials on the receiver and transmitter to get bent while traveling.

The non locking 3.5mm mic jack sucks, but I still might switch to these. I currently have the Sony UWP D11s which have big annoying aerials/antennas that make traveling a hassle. Also my frequency band will be illegal next year so I could pick up 2 of these if I sell my UWP's, still have my DR10L as a backup also.

Ehh im also not a fan of a canons heavy and unrealistic magenta shift in the skin tones on their newer cams. Sonys latest color reminds me of canons older color.

As someone that shoots mainly sports the BMUMB looks interesting. It may work.

Running an XLR mic into a recorder via 3.5mm cable is just yuck. I shoot sports also but not MTB. I sometimes mic goalies during games, my suggestion would be to tape an H1 to the bike frame and sync in post.

My voice over gear atm, I wouldn't mind getting an Electrovoice RE20 though Bought the Tascam DR100MKiii because the noise floor on the Zoom H5 was total ass. And the MKE 600 is really just a poor mans MKH416.

With dual HDMI and SDI - $400 seems wayyyyyyyy to good to be true. Might be selling the 701L for this guy. I love Smallhd's UI but i'm not willing to spend $2,100 just for that. This is the product ive been waiting for.
