@Snowbro @wolf33d can ya'll stop trying to flex, take this to PM's or something -
Ive been using Premiere Pro for last 5 years and personally think the program is garbage. I switched to Resolve Studio 15 earlier last month and its been great, no more constant crashing/bugs, better audio interface, and rendering final videos is like 1000x faster. I haven't played with the Fusion tab much as i'm not used to a node based workflow. However with Resolve your going to need a system with some serious horsepower to run it well. I don't that GPU is going to hold up either.

The Nikon Z6 will be the firat consumer camera to output 12 bit video

With the EOS RP announcement and 6 New RF lenses. Nikon will have to go into complete and total overdrive to stay relevant. A new 24 70 2.8 and $6000 50mm MF lenses simply isn't enough. -
Tbh this camera is nowhere near is as crippled as Canon's recent offerings. 200mbps in 4K is still plenty for this cameras intended audience.

Back from the dead? 8 reasons why I am warming to the tiny Canon EOS RP

yeah crop is weird, footage actually doesn't look like upscaled 1080P alas M50 which is good. -

when you tell Canon shooters that the new AI enhanced 4D autofocus is better than Canon DPAF But in all seriousness I think this camera will mark the beginning of the end for Nikon. -
Reminds me of the Sony VG30 and VG30 onmy thing with a Super 35 sensor is that lens wouldnt have very much reach. It would be something along the lines of the Sony 18-110mm F4

If it doesn't have the processing power for 4K FF like the EOS R, I expect the crop to be the same or potentially more. -

If its a consumer grade camera that seems fair? Kinda strange to omit 30fps as I know a lot of normal consumers prefer it to 24p -

Hmm $1300 makes its interesting, maybe this will spark the end for high end/flagship APSC? -
Whilst the DSLR video Revolution ended in 2014, some say it wasn't worth it. But the question is where would we be today if we didn't have it? It spawned "afforadable" mid tier Super 35 ILC video cameras like the C100, FS100, FS700. The cameras that sparked the beginning of the end of the revolution. (GH4, A7S, NX1, Pocket Cinema, BMC 2.5K) Would they exist? https://www.redsharknews.com/production/item/2862-opinion-the-end-of-the-dslr-revolution-benefits-major-manufacturers https://www.eoshd.com/2017/06/pro-cameras-not-creatively-liberating/

Of course PCC4K is better in just about every way with 4K, Slow motion, audio, and ergos. But I think I prefer the original's image over it. It reminds me of Super 16mm film with how organic it is. The new version's image reminds me of the GH5s just slightly less clinical. As an event shooter I prefer a more digital/clinical look so the PCC4K would make more sense for me.

Its always been Cine 4 this Slog 2 that but in reality Cine 2, cinema color is the goat.
-
I think OG pocket cinema slaps every camera under 15K (besides the ursa 4.6K pro) for its color science and filmic rendering.
-
unlikely, Sony F'ed up buy not putting this new AF update into the FS5ii. As someone in the Sony ecosystem ready to step up to a ILC S35 video camera its one of things I wanted to see.

Add 1 or 2 of your favorite tips to pass on to those just getting started with videography and filmmaking. Pro Tip 1. ALWAYS pack your gear bag the night before a shoot. Packing the day of or just before a shoot you are more likely to forget something. Pro Tip 2. If you shoot events, especially outdoors - pack some hand warmers into your pockets or Media Credential pass in case it gets really cold.

Ima just leave this here.. https://www.pdnonline.com/gear/cameras/the-best-cameras-for-color-reproduction-ranked/ same goes for video when you drop footage SOOC into an NLE and view it on a Vectorscope. But in your defense I am one of those people that believe "color science" is 100% subjective, whether its accurate or not SOOC. -
or maybe just rent a teredek system.. There is a reason why that pro grade zero latency gear cost so much.

Tradeoffs for oversampled full frame 4K with no crop ?
