you've not been married then ? ? -
a quick google found me this magic lantern forum post maybe you could try there also ? https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=3108.0 upon further thinking, isn't 1/50 a pretty slow shutter speed and iso 200-400 a little fast for daylight ? i imagine there's a ton of light hitting the sensor which is why you having to close your aperture all the way down. if you cant compromise on the shutter speed and or change your iso then your aperture has be closed down. the only other thing to do is put some neutral density filters on it, to stop the the sky and highlights from blowing out. that my simply understanding of it

if you would imagine for a moment that photography is like food, then i would contend for the rest of your life you can only eat 3 things steak, potato and beans. while you might live a long life, it would be kinda boring having the same stuff everyday. much more interesting is the idea of a smorgasbord occasionally which is what a bunch of lenses gives you

hmm got this in the email today so the offer is still good im tempted to see if they would accept my old nikon 950 FREE SD CARD WITH ALL CAMERAS + FREE SHIPPING $100 off the new HERO7 Silver when you trade in your old digital camera. LET'S TRADE Email not displaying correctly? View in browser. Terms and Conditions Any GoPro or digital camera with an original retail value of at least $99.99 USD is eligible for trade in. Applies only to purchases of HERO7 Silver or Fusion cameras made on gopro.com and delivered in the United States. Don't want these emails? Unsubscribe. GoPro Inc., 3000 Clearview Way, San Mateo, CA, 94402 USA offers only good in the usa... which i think is a bit discriminatory considering they ship these things worldwide. typical really, just leave everyone else out in the cold sigh !! EDIT in hindsight it appears you can only get the hero 7 silver or fusion. i guess they have a bunch of 7 silvers or fusions they would like to move before xmas . if it was a 7 black i might have been interested but i think i'll save my dollars for bm 4k accessories that i gonna need like the samsung t5 1t. considering the price of cards out here in aus the samsung is quite reasonable just gonna get that and learn to live with it i think

ribcage have m12 lenses that fit the go pro as well. you can buy m12 lenses of ebay for a few dollars but i have read the results don't match up to expectations so it seems your only options are cheap lenses for a few dollars of ebay or much better lenses of peau productions or ribcage for about $100. if you swap out the lenses there is a colour cast that is introduced usually pink with gopro 4 and earlier, that can be removed with a firmware upgrade but that's $50 as well. i have read that peau or ribcage state that there is no colour cast with the 6, i assume that would apply to the seven as well i am unsure about the 5

thats an easy fix. lets hope it holds up over time

so now that people are receiving their cameras, what has been peoples experiences on fitting adapters or speed boosters on it, is there issues with the ffd or sensor stack thickness. i have read that there was issues with an earlier model at the start or is it a non issue this time round ?

how about making a series of mockumentries maybe 2 or 3 minutes long showing just how ludicrous, ( insert your own adjective here ) this is points are given for creative use of blur or what other means of censorship you can come up within your video, if it goes viral awesome as we, the group of people who will most likely be impacted it's on us to make our point before the idea goes too far. we have all got video or cinema cameras, we probably spend more time here in the forum than we need too, get outside and use it or lose it as the saying goes lets start a movement, post to youtube or vimeo maybe create a channel called article 13 or something if we get something going now and people become aware and get onside the sky's the limit well that's my 2 cents worth, feel free to be inspired or not

its all good, if the girlfriend gets one. who can say if it was her idea or not to purchase one, finally andrew gets his hands on a camera that he was dead set against , albeit in a round about way. personally i'm a bit jealous, i'm still waiting for mine ? the positive thing to take away from this is that the girlfriend has excellent taste in cinema cameras ?

the Internets a big target for a lot of reasons. no doubt governments will or are looking for their slice of the pie and its no secret that governments need more money not to mention those corporations that whisper into their ears . unfortunately due to an lack of common sense and a lot of apathy and a propensity for political correctness most people collectively aren't much smarter than a herd of cows they are counting on the fact as proposed that it will create mass hysteria, everyone will have a hissy fit.it will get watered down till everyones happy and eventually pass , but by then you will need to obtain a permit to stay within the laws and seeing not government does anything for free it gonnna cost you $$ .its just an additional revenue stream some crazy smart person has come up with. film corporations already pay $$ to make movies in cities and popular spots and not so popular.why not get a slice of the little guy that does youtube or vimeo as well ? i bet a bunch of of permits from the little guys would add up to a truck load of money.

seems like you have a lot of cold fusion going on in those pics :) i bought the Soviet lens ANAMORPHIC 35 NAP 2-3M F=80:140 56/2 USSR to experiment with, however its front diameter is 130 mm and the back is 104. i presume that your focus adapter fits some of the other members of the 35 nap family ? or am i missing something ? -

found this on ebay, wondering if anyone has seen these or used one before ? has a polymer front lens which i'm inclined to think would mark easy ? seems to be a cheaper single focus solution with some limits https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vormaxlens-ReFocus-single-focus-module-anamorphic-variable-diopter-bluecoating/323500991806?hash=item4b5229653e:g:KtUAAOSw4M9bePVA:rk:36:pf:0 -

there's a pentax m42 50mm f1.4 that has 8 blades it's a little rarer but not impossible to find, but you already have a fd 50 1.4 with eight blades so maybe not much interest for you.

do you guys and girls, find that after making movies or short films that you begin to 2nd guess others work while watching or perhaps think that the producer should have done it a different way. does being a producer or director or being involved on set lessen your enjoyment when you go and watch other movies. i watched the making of the matrix when it came out that kinda disenchanted me abit i think. seeing how the magic worked kind lessened it for me for awhile but i think i have recovered now. but i would like to hear your thoughts
