Yeah if Fujifilm puts out there own compressed RAW format I will probably die.
-
Yeah HDR that gets you genuine 14 stops Alexa dynamic range would be an easy sell. Something like BRAW is also a huge sell for just its ease of use.

Yeah BRAW is really appealing in that regard. I convert my XT3 files to prores and leave it at that. Still have to bother with converting them though, which is not the case with BRAW. -
Maybe something affordable without a baby duck sensor.

I shot this in 2k if that helps at all I am really not sure what to tell you dude. Might advise just sticking with what you have if there is no big reason to upgrade. Unless you like throwing money into the wind. The XT3 is a great camera though. The Z6 is better if you need that low light full frame performance. -
I am on the very low end lol as are most people on here, at least from what I've seen. Except maybe webrunner

The URSA mini G2 would definitely be my camera of choice if I had the money.

Matching live a Sony a7Smk2 with a Fujifilm X-T3?
thebrothersthre3 replied to IronFilm's topic in Cameras
yeah I was thinking of the A73 -
Should see and do see are two different things though. Of course you can use a camera in manual mode but nothing out there right now can compete with a RED or Arri image quality wise. Most hybrids don't have proper SDI or anything either which alone would turn me away from using one on a bigger production. I just don't think the demand is there which is why companies like RED or Arri aren't pursuing auto focus tech. The only people that really care are people on the low end.

Both of their standard profiles look similar if they have the same white balance. -
Yeah the A6400 has a newer processor that can handle it.

His objection was that you can learn the settings yourself. But that is true with almost everything in life lol.

Z Cam's Super 35mm 6K camera for under $3K: the "Z Cam S6"
thebrothersthre3 replied to IronFilm's topic in Cameras
Fuji announced the XT3 will be getting 240fps this summer, which is a huge plus. 180fps coming from a full frame sensor on the S1 is probably really nice though -
what about an early exclusive sneak peak for the folks at EOS HD

I love the form factor, electronic ND's are amazing too. 4k 100fps would be great. -
PC hard drive shipments could fall by 50% this year...

I don't do the double back up part though its probably a good idea. -

hard drives are so cheap now I have no issue buying a lot of them -
that guy is my hero Would love to own one of these.

I think its because all these new features are more geared towards the prosumer and run and gun market. People in a professional setting tend to see cameras as just tools. I think its geeks like the people on here, me included, that are cumming over every new release. For someone like myself who is often doing 3 jobs at once shooting with a 2 person crew, these type of advances are automatically useful for me. In a professional setting you are shooting on say a RED or Arri, all kitted out. You have a 1st AC pulling focus. That type of system has been in place for a long time. I think that's why you hear people saying, auto focus is useless if you are a professional. Why fix what isn't broken. Of course when people actually use new tech and discover that you can do a three man job with just one guy that starts to change things.

the dock must be just out of the frame haha

I'm looking forward to hearing your input! IOS is definitely nice on 18-55, really great lens all around. You may be well off getting an after market grip to beef up the Fuji body. I definitely notice where the dynamic range looked a bit limited on the Canon. Really beautiful image though. I am often surprised how much Dynamic range the XT3 captures. The shadows definitely will get messy if you push them a lot. -
I don't think Panasonic will disappoint, unless it ends up being another GH5S type deal. At least with that you had an entirely different sensor and huge low light performance increase. I'd love to see 12 bit 422 in some type of compressed format H254 would be fine. I don't see why that couldn't at least be available in 2k. 4K 120fps would be huge as well. I mean if it has 4k 120fps its an instant buy for me.

I’ve never had it overheat. I think it only does up to 200mbps at 4K 60. It just gets very warm. It has a 30 minute record limit I believe.
-
They aren't doing 10 bit 4k 60p, other than the XT3, but that is S35 and that body also gets pretty hot.
