That would be a huge plus for me. One of the benefits of RAW is it usually means 14 bit (if the sensor is a 14 bit sensor) but if we had 14 bit cineform or whatever codec it kind of negates that benefit. That would probably make me buy it lol. Kind of doubt they are going to innovate that much though.

I hope so, though I can see them just thinking full frame and 4k 60p with external 10 bit is good enough. Considering no other camera has those specs. Who knows though. If it has internal 10bit 422, that might mean the price of the GH5 and GH5S will drop, which would be good since I am considering buying one again. Here's hoping to that ?

I might be interested, they are saying its DFD auto focus, which I doubt will be good for video. If it has internal 10 bit though, that would be interesting.

I don't know if a Gh5 can match an Alexa I think anything's possible

I would but I unfortunately don't own any of those cameras. You should be able to get 14 bit RAW to looks like most anything though. Heck Sage is making the GH5 10 bit 422 H264 match an Alexa. Would be a cool thread though.

I did, for the time it was pretty cool. Would have stuck with my GH2 had it not broke. The GH4 battery lasted forever tho that was nice.

People always said the GH4 was noisy?

Its such a tiny camera. Makes the sensor look huge.

Cool locations and hazy lighting is half the battle.

Kind of gets away from the whole geurilla-style mindset. Might be worth investing in a small cam to fly on a gimbal, lots of options these days.

The article says their sales having been steadily dropping by 10% every year for the past few years. I think the question is it the same for other companies? or could it be Sony and other manufacturers are picking up the slack.

My Beholder DS2 does that shake randomly as well, has ruined so many shots. I wonder if it's a similar issue.

I never liked Sony though. I just read the nx-1 rolling shutter in 1080p is 7ms, which is the lowest I've seen. Makes me reconsider the camera actually because I don't really need 4K. Every company should have a 16-50 f2-2.8 kit lens

This is what I've been saying. If they wanted to cut costs it seems like they could just start buying Sony tech like everyone else. I think this camera craze might be a flash in the pan. Cell phones will take over other then for professional use.

Maybe he meant the A7S2 as well. I mean they were good for the time. That number almost makes me want to buy an NX1, if only for the 16-50mm ?
