When Sony was asking more than 100k$ for a 2k cine camera and Jim delivered an -unfinished and unprepared but marvellous- camera for 15k$ .... He was one of our breed's pioneers whether we like it or not. I really respect him and owe him a lot .

6K anamorphic capture can only be used for B-camera, rather than main camera shooting, due to the lack of an I-frame codec in that format. B camera is not bad.

Internal RAW recording capabality is the game changer ( if crop is not at EosR's level) BMPCC4k and eventually BMPCC6k along with low price have succeed for that reason mostly. Of course AF is a massive plus if you compare with S1H but not that critical. I nevel liked connect HDDs/recorders externally if I could avoid that.

Can we use whatever external recorder we want to if we use hdmi output in order to have 4:2:2/10 bit ? I was thinking of BM new recorders that they can record even BRaw (of course not from a compressed signal like Eos R's)

I believe that a solution to use that as well on RF lenses would be number one demand if we could vote

1) All reviews I have seen refer to color cast at the very end (near 9 stops) that anyway it will be rarely used.So it is there (it's no perfect like B&W or PolarPro varNDs) but difficult to face . 2) The range is a mystery. Some refer to that as 1,5-9 stops, some 1-9 stops only AVpro that I trust more refer to that as 2.5-9 stops range. 3) The weird with clear filter is that you have to buy that. Seems stupid. It's cheaper and more flexible to own the simple adapter or the one with control ring to use when you don't want some stops (2.5 according to AVpro) in front of your lens at least. CPL filter on the contrary is not that usefall as the varND that is a killer addon.

Yeah unless you are certain of not buy RF lenses ( that would be weird since those lenses are the spear of R system) They should put that in body even if mount was projectile like BMPCC6k. Adapter with control ring is also usefall but this one could be a forever addon IF you didn't have to put a clear filter to fill the hole (why have a clear filter instead of nothing? a simple cap would do the job unless there is a reason for a glass to exist in that place ? ) and if that included a control ring as well.

Viltrox is not the best speedbooster you can rely on.....

Has anyone tried or compare the adapter with ND variable or cirpolariser filters ? I especially variable ND at top high quality class? Any idea who's providing that ?

Exactly ? Ok it's not the high fps camera (not even average) but they could have EyeAF on CAF mode in more that one (single) shot.

The have to fix that too. Eye equipped objects usually are not nailed....so they have to use that in burst mode too.

Well I have told more than 3 times that the body price would be definitely under 2000$ although in IBC there were rumors for a price under 3000$ ( that was clearly a market trick in order that the camera will appear affordable uppon it's release) I am glad that Sigma learned from their mistakes (original SD1 release) and try to sell massively.

Completely all over the place. In case you go for XT3 you need completely new lenses, same for Z7. I propose BMPCC6K because you asked alternative for EF lenses ( I assumed you allready have?) Anyway affordable camera with use of EF lenses and RAW is only BMPCC6K this period.

I believe everyone could sacrifice the compact form of Mavic is the image would be far better than that. After all we all do that for better image. The price is identical to me especially when the name price will be a street price.

Obviously it's the 1'' sensor and the identical price that puts that in line with Mavic2 pro. Of course fly abilities, record function and most important compact form of Mavic2 pro should be on the table too as this unit is a far from be a portable solution. At the end is the image that counts .

Seems serious enough. Of course we still have to see their type files and quality to be sure that can stand aside Mavic 2Pro . I hope they go well as we may see a serious competitor for inspire 2/X5s/X7
