Plot twist. The sub team that put together the immovable Blackmagic pocket 4k screen also put together the front facing record button. I give thanks to that sub team, the Vlogging team.

They should announce the Pocket 4K Pro with the exact same specs except that it ships on time and with adequate supply.

With that feature set and that price, why not just get a Fuji XT30?

As someone who's recently moved from premiere, I agree with previous posters about premiere's strength in organization. There's a little bit of a learning curve moving to resolve's color panels but once you get some time in your belt, I think it's a far more intuitive approach using nodes vs layers. If I were Adobe, I'd be worried.

Disregard. I was able to get it working by moving into better lighting.

Question for you guys - Anyone have any problems getting focus peaking (i.e. focus assist) working? I have it set to High and tried both colored lines and peaking and don't see anything. Under Monitor, I have Focus Assist turned On for LCD.

Perhaps it's just me but I have not been able to find a 3.5mm female to mini XLR male cable. I do see 3.5mm female to XLR though. I guess I can then do an XLR to mini XLR conversion. Does no one make a straight shot conversion cable?

Hey guys, Just saw on Reddit that the Samsung T5 is not on the list of Recommended media for 4K DCI BRAW 3:1/60fps. It is listed under '4K DCI 3:1 RAW up to 60 fps' for some reason, though. Has anyone seen any problems with theirs?

Hey fellas - Question for ya. I've always broadly managed exposure by using zebras and the histogram to try to keep things things in the middle whilst also minimizing clipping. Now, I'm just starting to learn false color and it looks to be a great one-stop shop tool. My question is.. if I were to put up an 18% grey card, should it be falling around 50% to indicate proper exposure?

Only because someone brought up the XT-3 again and I just moved from that platform, I'd say it has the best image coming SOC. Set that thing to Eterna or Classic Chrome, transcode to ProRes and then do your thing in Resolve or Premiere.

To answer your first question, I wasn't able to run Fuji H265 files on my laptop without transcoding. For the BMPCC4K, I can smoothly play and edit BRAW files on my laptop. The only problem I've had with it is that my video card is only 2GB so I sometimes get Out of GPU memory error messages in Resolve.

I recently switched switched cameras and have a few leftover Fuji items including 4 Wasabi batteries, 2 chargers and a vlogging mirror. Instead of putting them into storage, if an XT3 owner wants them, just drop me a message and I'll send them out to you. All I ask is the postage fees. Thanks!

I probably should have checked this before switching but I'm moving over to the T5 SSD instead of using an SD card. I'll be running off battery. I'm seeing some posts on the BM forum about problems mounting the T5. Is running on battery a bad idea with the SSD? Have you guys seen faster battery drain?

Instead of going the dummy battery route, I ordered this cable to run from the monitor's DC Output into the BMPCC4K's DC input port.
