I think it's different. Even the color rendition looks different.

I've had several instances when I thought I blew out the sky and when I went to the RAW tab, I was able to save the detail just fine. Their sensor + BRAW is pretty damn fantastic.

The good news is that Camera Conspiracies will continue to be a thing.

If specs true, the only thing it would have on the Sony ZV-1 is better IBIS. That Sony Zeiss lens is faster even though it's not wide enough.

If true, no reason to go for this Panasonic vs the Sony ZV-1.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this will have a bigger sensor than the Sony ZV-1 1 inch sensor? Also, having played with the Sony, I think it's biggest problem outside of the not-wide-enough lens is the stabilization is not good enough for walking. Panasonic's IBIS from the G9 is great so I can see Panasonic winning this one if they can incorporate it.

Probably because the pocket 4K was so good for its low asking price and its users didn’t think the 6k was worth almost 2x price just to have slightly more resolution and an EF Mount while giving up their speed boosters.

I'm sure Blackmagic sales were thinking the same thing before their price drop..

After watching that BTS video from VICE News, that Canon C300 setup looks like the one to have for that kind of shooting.

I thought the ZV-1 was based off the VII design since the VI doesn't have a mic port or Active Steadyshot?

Finally a bigger distinguishing feature other than the EVF. I can see someone paying the extra $400 just to have the recording times

I think the question should also be asked if someone calls themselves as a filmmaker, if they're actually making films or just making YouTube videos.

Sony can’t seem to put together a camera that can do 4K/60 that isn’t a big one you carry on your shoulder.

I remember when the bmpcc4k could only do 1080 before the firmware update. It was a big improvement afterwards..

For the 120P, BMPCC6K also does 2.8K while the S1H can only do 1080.
