  1. Hi all! I'm sharing with you a moody film I did during a short trip in Berlin from last june. Don't worry you will not be drawned under a ton of crazy trendy transitions. Just let the video takes you through History with a big H. This city is so inspiring. Feel free to ask me about the workflow. some technicals specs : Shot with a canon 5D MK III 1920x872 @24fps with crop_rec_4k.2018Jul22.5D3113 edit and color corrected with davinci resolve 15 (by the way thank a lot Andrew Reid for taking the time to create your books, I purchased them a while ago, and even if was using before ML, they offered a good help earlier on the year.)
  2. Im looking for a Sony FS7 picture profile to bake in a look that emulates the Canon 5D Mark iii.
  3. Hello EOSHD forum First time poster and long time reader here. I wrote/directed a short film based on Aussie sci-fi novelist Greg Egan's story 'Axiomatic'. I shot this on a 5DmkIII with Zeiss and Takumar primes and the older 1080p ML Raw hack as the 4k option wasn't available yet. Please feel free to check out the teaser trailer on Vimeo:

  5. This summer as well I get opportunity to visit my friends back home in Lithuania. I got very nice memories from my previous visit last year and I was happy to visit them again at Gelgaudis, at south of Neman (Nemunas) River, Lithuania. Despite bad weather we spend a wonderful time. Got some shorts memories from there. Thank you for watching Little bit about technical site. First time I used completely only hacked software from my Canon 5D mark III, called Magic Lantern. All videos were captured at RAW (MLV files transfered to DNG) and time-lapses were done using Silent Pictures mode from Magic Lantern. Also first time I used new transfer method. 1) MLV video files 2) transfer to Cinema DNG 3) Open with Davinci Resolve 4) change color settings decode using: clip and Color space: BMD film. (to get flat picture look) 5) Transfer to DNxHD 444 6) Import and Edit and color correction done with Adobe Premiere CC 2015 using new LUMETRI color correction update. Summary: results are fabulous and saved me a lot of time. New adobe update: LUMETRI color correction is lifesaver. Music by: Jon Hopkins - The River Cheers
  6. Hi, I shot this video in Dolomites, Italy, in Marmolada mountain area during 8 days vacations. Filmed on a Canon 5D Mark III entirely in Magic Lantern raw format (mlv) 1920x1080. I used Komputerbay 64GB 1000x and Sandisk extreme pro 32GB memory cards. Nexto DI ND2730 500GB photo storage device was super helpful with archiving those lots amount of data in the field. Most of the shots were made with canon 16-35mm f2.8 L II but canon 100mm f2.8 L Macro was also used. Smooth shots were made with Glidecam HD2000. Regarding Magic Lantern - i had absolutely no problem with it in the field. It worked brilliantly, had some few minor crashes but nothing to worry about. Huge amount of data is no problem when you have a device like nextodi or similar with you. Copying 64GB card takes about 8-10 minutes so if you have two cards (i had 64 and 32GB) you can shoot almost continuosly. Please tell me what you think.
