  1. Right in this tutorial I show how easy it is to do tracking in Davinci Resolve. Very handy if you want to add some exposure to a moving object or actor’s face! Thanks for watching! R
  2. An afternoon at Freeman's Mill park in GA. The camera was an afterthought to the trip, so I didn't have a tripod with me.
  3. A short promo about studying in Rome. Shot in May 2013 on the Canon 5d mark 3 RAW when RAW had just been released.

Lenses primarily used: Canon 35mm IS and Canon 70-200 f2.8 mk2. I only had 2 Lexar 1000x, now I use these and 4x Komputerbay cards. Edited on Premiere, ran through Adobe Camera Raw in After Effects first to get better debayer and graded on Davinci Resolve. I hope you like it, let me know your thoughts! >
  4. For anyone who wants an affordable control surface for use with DaVinci Resolve instead of their $30K hardware I have listed on eBay an unused Tangent Wave CP300. I bought it new from Jigsaw 24 just under 18 months ago & it has literally never been used beyond plugging it in the check it works.   BTW I hope it's OK to post this link but I know that there are people using Resolve especially with BMCC and with 5D3 RAW and might be looking for a great control surface at a bargain price so please think of this as a Public Service Announcement :)   http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=171121061035
  5. Hi, All!   Just thought I'd share some color grading that I've been fiddling with. I shot a bunch of footage at the local carnival a month back, and now I'm working on grading it for one of my personal music video projects.    I've used my own take on a bleach bypass process that simultaneously adds the teeniest touch of blue to the lows, then with a couple more nodes, I've tweaked exposure and of course that nasty red/orange/yellow/green zone of color that seems to always make or break skintones has had some subtle adjustments.   Lemme know what you think!   http://www.flickr.com/photos/68917223@N05/sets/72157634804640007/with/9375308962/
  6. 12 hrs of Sebring - Falken takes 3rd   Finishing in third place in the final American Le Mans Series 12 Hours of Sebring puts the team in the third place in the championship heading into Round Two.   Shot on the Blackmagic Cinema Camera Edited in Premiere Pro CS6 Graded in DaVinci Resolve
  7. My short film, which I produced and directed for Red 5 Studios and Continuum Films, got published yesterday. The film's executive producers are Mark Kern and Cindi Rice. Mark posted some months ago on reduser about his ambitious project of funding short films (check out the thread). Only request for getting the funds was that the film has to be interesting for gamers (and of course the script and the showreels of the director and DoP had to be approved). Nowadays, views on youtube are a currency. I do have a great new film project which I want to shoot for stage5, but to get the funds, this first film has to be successful. So please have a look at my film "Partner" and, if you like it, share it with your friends. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrG8Y3N4_Qs&feature=share&list=PLlfX4F00N7cuTA3E5Ew33yE_DInODzztN   We shot the film on a RED Scarlet with Nikon AIs lenses. Colorgrading was done in Resolve.   If you have any questions about the production, filming in Berlin, what gear we used or the post production process, go ahead and ask :)   Cheers David
