Check out this little Video i shot on the GH5, Metabones Adapter and the old Sigma 30mm 1.4. (that kendy one :-) ) and the Panasonic 20mm pancake. Most of the Grafitti stuff was Shot at HD at 120 FPS. I should have used the 4k 60 FPS instead to keep the Quality with the digital zooms and reframes... Editing in Premiere. Just a fast Grading with Lumetri Looks.

Hi guys, I was just having a look on b&h at the ef to bmpcc speed boosters and found two different versions listed: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1064603-REG/metabones_mb_spef_bmpcc_bm1_canon_ef_to_bmpcc.html and http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1174582-REG/metabones_mb_spef_bmpcc_bt1_metabones_canon_ef_lens.html I was just wondering if anyone knows what the 'T' in the second link means? Is it an updated version? Thanks.

Hi, check out my latest musicpromo for Hamburg based "Neonschwarz". Mostly shot on GH4 with Metabones, Tokina 11-16 and Sigma 30mm 1.4. Love the 4K modus to make smooth transitions and "dollymoves"... But also a few shots with the 700D with kitlens - can you point them out? ;-)

Hello, As a fan of beautiful classic cars I always enjoy watching videos from Petrolicious. For those who don't know, Petrolicious is a famous website about vintage cars ; they make regular video interviews of owners of older car models. Recently they shot a video about the Alpine Renault. The problem with Petrolicious is that they are very discreet about the shooting and the gear used, so I "investigate" and I finally found this video was made by David Zu Elfe from itx Films. I asked David what he had used as material and about color grading, here's his kindly reply : Interesting ! Enjoy the video now :

Hi, I´m using a Sigma 18-35 1.8 with a Metabones Speed Booster on my BMPCC. What I noticed is that the left side of the image isn´t perfectly in focus while the right side is spot-on. If I try to get the left side as sharp as possible, the middle of the picture and the right side will be slightly out of focus. Please take a look at the pictures below. Notice how the very left side seems to be quite blurry, while the right side isn´t that bad. The aperture was 2.5. '> '> I´ve tried two Sigma 18-35 and two different Speed Boosters, but the results were exactly the same. Has anyone else noticed similar effects? I would be very happy if someone with a Sigma 18-35 and a SB tried to shoot something outside with the lens wide open and focus set to infinity.

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but saw there were a few posts from A7S owners and users on here, so thought somebody may be able to help with the predicament I find myself in. I recently bought a Sony A7S, with metabones EF-E adaptor (Mark IV) and Sigma Art 24-105 lens. I'm having a lot of trouble getting the lens and camera to connect properly - Sometimes, the lens works fine and I can shoot long video clips no problem. However, a large proportion of the time, the set-up has several issues: 1. The aperture randomly jumps 1/2-1 stop either side of my current exposure. 2. The iris won't open and close when I change it in the camera. When it does, there's a 5-10 second delay until the lens catches up with the camera. 3. I have downloaded the firmware upgrade on my macbook, and when I open the app and connect the adaptor, nothing happens. I have also downloaded it on my iMac, and it won't even open, it just crashes straight away. I also tried downloading it on my girlfriends macbook, but it also won't open on there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Andy

I've just picked up a new Sony A5100 (for US$330, a great Black Friday deal!) and want to use my Nikon F mount lenses on it. What is the best Metabones focal reducer clone for Nikon G to Sony E mount? Is it the Mitakon Lens Turbo II? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mitakon-Lens-Turbo-Focal-II-Reducer-Adapter-Nikon-F-ai-s-Sony-NEX-VG-camera-/171320696417 Or would the much cheaper jinfinance be just as good? http://www.ebay.com/itm/new-Nikon-F-G-focal-reducer-speed-booster-adapter-to-Sony-NEX-5-6-7-FS700-FS100-/360707999952

Hey - Recently just bought the GH4 and was looking at some Rokinon and SLR Magic lenses. I was wondering if I should get them MFT mount or purchase a speed booster and get the EF mount? I am assuming the crop factor will decrease if I get the EF and speed booster but the fact that I won't have to use a adapter with the MFT is great. Just want to get some thoughts on this? Also can anyone recommend other primes that are great with the GH4? Thanks

Testing out the new Metabones Speedbooster Canon EF -> m43. Really loving it, and working with Sigma ART lenses it just sings! I really want that shallow depth of field look, and it works a treat. Of course it's really hard to focus at F1, worse using a vari-ND filter too (vignette and darkening of the corners at the highest setting). Paired with the SLR Magic Anamorphot it has a great look!

Hello! I recently picked up a GH3 and am wondering what lens setup to purchase. I have done some research and am thinking about these two options. 1. Metabones Speedbooster with a Sigma 30mm 1.4 II (Nikon Mount) as I had the old Sigma 30mm 1.4 on my 550D and loved it! 2. Voigtlander 25mm f0.95 and the SLR Magic 12mm f1.6. Would love to know what you guys think! Thanks :)

This is a trailer for my new short film which will be getting it's first screening on July 17th. I shot this entirely on two BMPCCs both with speed boosters. I hope you all like it! Trey

I shot this after my BMPCC Speed Booster finally arrived. When I mount the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 DX2 to it, I can notice a big problem with sharpness in the center, especially when wide open. The corners, ironically, seem to be way better. Even when stepped down, the sharpness is not really good. Does anyone else have that problem and/or a solution for it?

Hi all, it's been a while. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other BMPCC speed boosters planned. Not just M4/3 ones, but the wonderful BMPCC specific ones... I don't own a single Nikon compatible lens, so anything else (EF, C/Y) would be a godsend. Any word on the street?

I was wondering if there was a Metabones for MFT available for my GH3 14-42 kit lens.

With this recent price drop in BMCC, buying a 2.5K camera seems relevant again. Especially since it has one extra stop of dynamic range over the 4K version, and with the metabones speedbooster it actually has similar form factor regarding the DOF. And It could be a great B cam once you decide to get a 4K version (or if finances are low, get a pocket version as a B cam for 2.5K) Now my question is, would I need to buy a metoabones speedbooster for each of my lens types as I have contax yashica, Leica, Nikon, EF, etc... (which would be extremely expensive), or could I only get the EF to MFT version (once it comes out) and use the C/Y, Leica, etc... to EF adapter? Thanks a lot for your responses.

...I hope everything is ok and this has nothing to do with the MFT Speedbooster getting delayed, but I just noticed the Twitter accound for Metabones is not there. Weird. ... thoughts?

https://vimeo.com/63187130 A first-person travelogue of my trip to Miami for the Ultra Music Festival. I flew out there with some friends from Vegas as a last-minute adventure. The festival basically overtakes Miami for a couple weeks, turning the already lurid city into an EDM-fueled fever dream. My goal was to capture the surreal and seductive experience of navigating it all: glowstick playgrounds by night, bathwater beaches by day, lobster restaurants by streetlight, and the feeling that I might wake up at any moment. Went out last night and had an amazing time at a place called Bungalow in Santa Monica. Brought my NEX-5n with an old Nikon 50mm f1.4 AIS lens and the Metabones Speed Booster. It was DARK in that place, but the Speed Booster made me feel invincible. https://vimeo.com/60971352

Hi, just wanted to start a topic about using 3rd party lenses with the Metabones Speed Booster. Their website warns about the possibility of some lenses having protruding rear elements that could scratch the adapter or short out the electrical connections. I don't yet own any EF lenses, so I'm currently using a Rainbow Imaging Nikon to EF adapter. The lenses I've tried with this are: - 50mm f/1.8 pancake (all manual) - 24mm f/2 AIS (all manual) Camera is a Sony NEX-5n. After my first day of trials, this combo works fine. My caveats so far: - The Nikon adapter tends to stick to the lens, requiring a manual depress of the delicate release lever in order to unscrew it from the lens. So I'm just buying another Rainbow Imaging adapter and plan on leaving it on the lens all the time. - The lens focuses a bit past infinity. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the Speed Booster and see no image degradation. Will be posting sample videos soon. Anyone else tried other lenses?
