Went to Pinpoint Muay Thai and shot some test footage with the Kinefinity Terra 6K. Shot in 4K with a helios44-2 modified by vidatlantic to have oval bokeh. Hope you like it...

Hi EOSHD community, I've been a daily reader and pretty regular commenter here over the past year, and wanted to share some exciting news. My first feature film will premiere at the LA Film Festival in two weeks! It's been a labor of love and a lot of work to get it to this point, so I'd love for any of you in the area to come out to the screening and to meet IRL. Here's a link for tickets, and the trailer's below. Also of note to readers is the many formats we used to shoot the film. Partly out of necessity, and at times for aesthetic reasons we ended up shooting on at least 5 different cameras and formats: Canon C500 4k Raw, RED, C500 HD, full-frame Canon DSLR, Panasonic GH4, and even iPhone Let me know if you can make it!

Hey folks, I've been posting here for close to a year. All the while working on this project in the background. It's a dramatic coming-of age tale. We shot on both Canon c500 and Red cameras, with vintage Cooke S2 lenses. Let me know what you think!

Hello there ! We had the opportunity and luck to be part of the "Dominica Film Challenge" this year, here is the result of our week in this tiny and lovely island from the Carribeans ! Hope you'll like it. We mainly shot with a Red epic, but there is also some 5d III raw footage as we had troubles with our luggage (4 days to arrive..). There are also a few drone shots made with a phantom 2 and a gopro 4.

Was wondering what the general opinion on grabbing a used Red ONE or what have you is? In my search for a camera, I've kind of ignored Red because I've always thought them to be out of my price range. But looking around, it appears you can get a ONE for relatively "cheap" (4-5k). Would grabbing on of those be preferable to anything else in the price range? I like it because it's 4K compressed RAW, PL mount, and has anamorphic mode for 2.40 aspect ratio. Not sure if there are any known issues to be aware of, or if other options outshine it? Another option i was looking at is a KineMini, but literally nobody in the U.S. has one soooooo....not looking good there. Opinions?

I've been trying Andrew's recommended photo styles enclosed in the GH4 Guide. It seems that the "C3 - Flat" settings can cause banding and a red rainbowing effect on gradient backgrounds. I'm also on DVXUser and we've been discussing the issue and trying to figure out what could be the cause. It appears to be the fact that Master Pedestal is pushed to +15. I'm both trying to report possible issues and figure out fixes. Here's a screen grab of the shot: [Graded] - [Ungraded] I also cooled down the image which helped a bit.

Hi, I had such a good response last time I thought I would post my latest music video shot using an Optex anamorphic adapter. https://vimeo.com/74284254 Shot on a Red One mostly in 2k crop mode 96fps I wanted to replicate the look of 16mm film. I love shooting in raw, it gave me lots of flexibility in post, using LUTs to get some really filmic colours. Would be cool to get some feed back from some fellow anamorphic lovers. Cheers, Chris.

My short film, which I produced and directed for Red 5 Studios and Continuum Films, got published yesterday. The film's executive producers are Mark Kern and Cindi Rice. Mark posted some months ago on reduser about his ambitious project of funding short films (check out the thread). Only request for getting the funds was that the film has to be interesting for gamers (and of course the script and the showreels of the director and DoP had to be approved). Nowadays, views on youtube are a currency. I do have a great new film project which I want to shoot for stage5, but to get the funds, this first film has to be successful. So please have a look at my film "Partner" and, if you like it, share it with your friends. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrG8Y3N4_Qs&feature=share&list=PLlfX4F00N7cuTA3E5Ew33yE_DInODzztN We shot the film on a RED Scarlet with Nikon AIs lenses. Colorgrading was done in Resolve. If you have any questions about the production, filming in Berlin, what gear we used or the post production process, go ahead and ask :) Cheers David
