Hi, I'm up to write my thesis in the next month. It's gonna be about the "newly" appeared filmmaker society between professionals and amateurs. They are far from amateur, but also doesn't have the luxury of a professionals budget. Let's just call them independent filmmakers. I would like to find out as much as i can about this new and very exciting uprising "movement". What effects was made by the internet, torrent, tons of tutorials, DIY, youtube, vimeo, facebook, twitter, web2.0 (etc) on the filmmaking industry/art? What tendencies can we observe in the camera/film developer market in the past few decades? (red, arri, canon, bmc, sony etc) Since my thesis has to be 60 pages, and i have to use a lot of quotes from the literature I'm looking for any kind of help such as: opinion, experience, suggested literature, or any kind of useful source. So basically anything serious. (I'm not new in this field, I'm working as a photographer and editor since 6 years or so, and in the past 1-2 years I have my own equipment for DSLR filmmaking. And also I'm a weekly-daily followers of this kind of sites, like EOSHD ... and some others more :) ) spoken languages: hungarian, english Thanks for your help! Adorján

Hi, I m trying to set up the best lens kit for the price for the BMC camera. I need your opinion on what's better: OPTION 1: Samyang 8mm f3.5 (video version) Samyang 24mm f1.4 (video version) Samyang 35mm f1.4 (video version) Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 Price: approximately $2400 These are all full frame lenses (except for the last one), so they have future value and since all are EF, I would opt for EF mount BMC OPTION 2: Samyang 8mm f3.5 (video version) Samyang 35mm f1.4 (video version) Voigtlander Nokton 17.5mm f0.95 Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f0.95 Noktor SLR Magic 12mm f1.6 Price: approximately $3690 This option has 3 m4/3 lenses (not as future proof as full frame lenses), but way faster wides. I would have to go for BMC with m4/3 mount. Also this option is considerably more expensive - arround $1300, for my tight budget. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you very much for your time and effort.

I have one question that has been creeping out since the announcement of the m4/s mount. Originaly I have planned to use my set of Samyang lenses (8, 24, 35) and Tokina 11-16, all EF mount as the main lenses for the BMC. Now with the announcment of m4/3 all world of lenses that I have used on GH2 opens up, including my absolute favorite LOMO OCT 18 mount russian lenses, however my dilemma is, if I opt to get m4/3 camera would I see any difference on my EF lenses (as opposed to going with the original mount for BMC) as well as how to change the aperture on my Tokina (as that would have to still be my main lens for BMC)? Would it be better to just go for ZE/EF or for m4/3 in my situation? Thanks a lot!
