First tripod purchase for GH2. How did I do?

Picked this up on eBay for $225(US). The seller listed it as a Gitzo 6x, but he had no idea what it was as he was selling it for a friend. I had him send me some photos, and this is what I got:

Looks like a Gitzo 1257 with a low profile rationelle head.

It definitely looks used, but I'm okay with that. This is my first tripod and I'm hoping I got a great deal on something that will serve me well as I grow into the GH2.

I do wonder about the red cap on the center column...
