kitchentable
What are your thoughts ? This looks quite elegant http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DSLR-Rig-NP-F970-or-F550-Battery-Power-Supply-15mm-Rod-Rail-System-5D2-60D-/251068586329?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D1836902134706982088%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D2%26#ht_4955wt_1378 This next one has been proven working with the BMC already apparently http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/index.php?t=product/hawk-woods_dv-a1 Or there is the DIY option like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-Rechargeable-Li-on-Battery-9800mAH-Portable-4-CCTV-/280645322623?pt=UK_ConsumerElectronics_Batteries_SM&hash=item4157c3c77f#ht_3969wt_1144 I like the elegance of the first one, the second one is a bit more stealth as it doesn't tie you into a rail system while the last one appeals on both the stealth and the cost option. Think I might go for 1 and 3.
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted September 5, 2012 Administrators Share Posted September 5, 2012 I'll be trying this first. It is like the nice FS100 battery, lasts for hours but very compact and can screw onto the base or a cage. http://www.switronix...l&product_id=86 They do it for the BMCC as well as DSLRs. They also do a BMCC mounting plate for V-lock batteries.
kitchentable
I like the look of that. I'm such a mingebag though, I'll no doubt end up stuffing the cheapo battery I put in as option 3 in a Maplin project box and adding tripod mounting ;)
