craigbuckley
Does this sound right? I purchased an SanDisk extreme pro 16gb SDHC memory card, and it says on my camera there is only 9 minutes of video remaining.. Does this sound right? If so I need a way bigger memory card.. Bruno
Sounds like "your camera" has a pretty high bitrate codec.
andy lee
sounds about right for a hi bit rate hack my Driftwood hack is over 1GB per minuite
sanveer
I am guessing, that your camera is NOT hacked. So, there is some issue with either your card, or something else. Please take it to the guy you got your card from, and let him tell you, what the issue may be.
galenb
Did you format the card properly?
craigbuckley
I didnt format the card, but I notice when I change the settings, the length of the free spae on my card goes up. Is there a way to format?
sanveer
There is a certainly kind of earnest curiosity, in your questions. I guess, a lot of people on this forum (including me, sometimes), believe that they are too elementary, at times, but, please don't let it bother you. I have worked in a few features, and we had a DoP/ Cinematographer, with about 30 years of experience (or more), who, more than once, missed shadows, and bills on trees, in the frame. Though, he was broad-shouldered enough to admit his folly, the moral of the story is, no one is perfect :) The length of the time left, on the card, depending on the MB rate, you are shooting at. craigbuckley
