craigbuckley
So I have bought the "EOS GH2 GUIDE" book and I have been reading. I promise! I have also been shooting with my camera a lot and getting some practice, (staying away from the forums)... But I do have a legitimate question about my 20mm pancake lens, Does anyone else have trouble manually focusing with this lens because of how small it is? My fingers keep getting in the shot.. With my canon fd 50mm, its fine to focus, but the pancake its a lot harder. Any advice on this? I might sell the 20mm pancake or return it, any suggestions on a better "all around" lens? Its for a short film I am shooting, so I am going for prime lenses, maybe a wide angle? (I already have the canon fd50mm for reference..) Mondo
It's just a matter of how you hold it. For handheld I cup my camera and focus underhand when using that lens rather than go for an overhand motion using my thumb and index finger. It just takes practice really. craigbuckley
