Talk about loosing a very interesting feature...

could come with a firmware update maybe?

Hmmm ... I am guessing it should be able to fix it, in a firmware update.


Also, the ETC mode has reduced the focal length, of the mode (for stills), from 2.6x to 2.0 (I am assuming they are both in the 4:3 aspect), since this isn't a multi-aspect ratio sensor, anymore.
